Hey Berliners 👽
As I will move out from my lovely WG, there will be one room free from March, 16th till March 31th. We are searching someone for 2 weeks, since there will be another person moving in afterwards.
The room will have a bed, mattress, lamp, drawer and a little side table.
We've been living in this apartment for three years since we moved in so still looks pretty much stainless, as it was fully renovated just before it was rented out. Walls and parquet are still shiny, and all the equipment from the kitchen and bathroom are practically brand-new. Needless to say, we decorated the shared space with all our love!
The whole apartment is 140sqm. The bathroom, which can fit a few dozen people, has shower, bathtub, toilet, two sinks and a really big mirror. We also have another small bathroom with an extra toilet. The living room connects with the entrance, and you can use this space to watch movies or play games. Last but not least, the kitchen is the place to cook, eat and socialize - when inviting people, we normally do it here. It's cozy enough to have a late night conversation with friends :)
Excellent communication is one of the perks of living close to Gesundbrunnen. Thanks to the line U8, you can easily reach Rosenthaler Platz (<10 min), Alexanderplatz (<15 min) or Kottbuser Tor in Kreuzberg (<20 min). While the Ringbahn can get you to any other important location pretty quickly as well. Gesundbrunnen works as one of the main train hubs of Berlin, so it's exceptionally well connected to the rest of the city (and beyond!).
Culinarily speaking, there're a few top quality middle eastern restaurants around. And even a really nice Spanish restaurant called Bar Pepe that we love going from time to time!
As for supermarkets, we have Lidl, Bolu andRewe just around the corner. If you take the U-Bahn, there's Kaufland and Biomarkt (open on Sundays!) just one stop away at Gesundbrunnen (or 10min walking distance).
If you're keen on traveling as we are, the airport is reachable in just 30 minutes.
Until now, Keito has been living with us for over two years. Now she's moving out, so Daniel and Marie-Aurore are staying in the apartment. We are a couple for over 3 years, but as the apartment is too big for us (140sqm!) we want to continue renting Keito's room. We'd like to find a new flatmate who takes care of the apartment as we did during all this time. Daniel is a software engineer who loves traveling, cooking, going to all kind of live music events, watching classic movies or going around Berlin with his second hand racing bike. Marie-Aurore is an account executive who loves DJing, organizing events, sewing and eating. We always respected each other's space in our WG, as well as spent time together at home or go out to bars or clubs.
We have a few very basic rules to keep the apartment tidy and clean (like weekly cleaning shifts) and that worked remarkably well until now, so we're expecting to keep them. But other than that, we're easy going people and we hope you can make this place feel like your home! :)
Please, write a brief description of yourself and what you like to do in your spare time. Also, send us your Facebook or Instagram if you have any as we'd like to have a first look online! We'll write you back if you fit in our wg so we can meet up, get to know each other and show you the apartment. Don't hesitate to send us an email if you have any further questions. Thank you for your time and hope to meet you soon!
Best regards,
