Room in student dorm available perfect for exchange students! - Zimmer im Studentenwohnheim

Ich vermiete mein Zimmer für 6 Monate weiter. Wenn du also Zwischenmiete oder Übergang suchst passt das super! Am besten ist es für Austauschstudenten, die für das Sommersemester nach Berlin kommen wollen.

Das Zimmer ist sehr hell, mit zwei Fenstern. Der Schreibtisch, die Regalbretter an der Wand, der große Schrank (der super viel Stauraum bietet) und das Bett + Matratze sind vom Studentenwohnheim gestellt. Wenn du aber z.B. den Spiegel oder den Beistelltisch da behalten möchtest, biete ich dir an, es dazulassen :) ansonsten geben die Wände super viel Platz zum dekorieren. Die Fenster gehen raus aus dem Gelände zur Seitenstraße, es ist also sehr ruhig.

Unser Studentenwohnheim ist anders als andere aufgebaut. Wir haben ein großes Gelände, auf dem mehrere kleine Häuser stehen (je Erdgeschoss und 1. Stock). In unserem Haus sind wir gerade 13 Leute. Du würdest im 1. Stock im am Ende des Flures wohnen, es ist also ein Eckzimmer und damit ruhiger und größer als die restlichen Zimmer. Außerdem liegt das Zimmer direkt neben Bad und WC, was auch ziemlich praktisch ist.
Wir haben eine riesige Küche mit allem was man so braucht - Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle etc. Du müsstest also gar nichts mehr mitbringen, kannst es aber gerne tun. Jeder hat seinen Platz im Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank und einen Vorratsschrank für sich. In der Küche ist der einzige Ort, wo du auf die anderen triffst.
Außerdem haben wir mehrere Wäscheständer, Staubsauger, Besen etc.
es gibt eine Waschküche mit Waschmaschinen und Trockner. Da zahlst du 2€ pro Waschgang :)
Du kannst dir entweder so eine Hotspot Box kaufen oder du fragst einen der Bewohner ob du dich bei Ihnen ins WLAN klingen kannst. So habe ich es gemacht :) Habe dann 5€ im Monat gezahlt.

Das soziale Leben hier kannst du dir selber gestalten. Ob du die anderen nur grüßen oder auch mit denen quatschen willst, bleibt dir überlassen. Jeder wie er will. Im Sommer wird hier auf dem Gelände sehr viel gegrillt, da alle Häuser Gärten haben. So triffst du auch die Bewohner der anderen Häuser. Außerdem haben wir ein Volleyballfeld, eine Tischtennisplatte und ein Basketballkorb. Dazu haben wir das Klubhaus. Das wird meistens für Partys benutzt. Man kann dort auch einfach nur rumhängen. Außerdem gibt es dort ein Schlagzeug, eine Anlage und ein Keyboard.

Die Lage finde ich wirklich toll. Es liegt zwei Minuten Fußweg vom S-Bahnhof Grunewald entfernt. Dort fährt die S7, in zwei S-Bahnstationen am S-Bahnhof Charlottenburg, in vier am Zoo. Die Linie ist sowieso super praktisch, weil man direkt durchs Zentrum bis hin nach Friedrichshain fahren kann. Gleichzeitig ist es total idyllisch hier, direkt neben dem Grunewald (super zum Joggen!!). Eine entspannte Gegend mit netten Bewohnern aber trotzdem super nah am Zentrum!

5 Minuten Fußweg zu zwei Supermärkten - Edeka und Rewe (mit extra Rewe Getränkemarkt)
Zwei Buslinien - M19 (in 10 min am Ku’damm durch bis Kreuzberg) und dem 186 (Richtung FU)
Man kommt also gut weg :)

Es gibt eine Bedingung: Du musst an einer Uni oder FH in Berlin für das Sommersemester 2018 immatrikuliert sein.

Die Wartezeit für ein Zimmer hier beträgt 2-3 Semester, also ist das eine gute Gelegenheit ein Zimmer zu nem super Preis zu kriegen.

Ich brauche so schnell wie möglich einen Untermieter. Wenn du im April einziehen willst, melde dich so schnell es geht. Dann machen wir einen Besichtigungstermin aus :)

I‘m offering my room for 6 months for rent. So if you’re searching for intermediate rent it’s perfect. Especially for exchange students, because you actually do not have to bring or buy a lot of stuff. The room is really bright because of the two windows. The desk, the big cupboard, the shelves and the bed + mattress are included in the rent. If you want to keep the mirror or the side table I could leave it there :) The big walls offer a lot of space for decorating. The windows head away from the compound to a side street so it’s really quiet.

Our student dorm is a little different from the others. We do not have one big building. It’s a compound with 10 small buildings on it (each of them has two floors). In our house we’re currently 13 people. You’d live on the second floor at the end of the hallway. It’s a corner room, so it’s bigger and more quiet than the other rooms. Also, it’s right next to the restroom and showers which is pretty convenient.
We have a huge kitchen with all the stuff you need - water kettle, coffee machine, microwave etc. So actually you do not have to bring anything, but of course you can if you want to.
You have your own space in the refrigerator, in the freezer and your own cabinet. The kitchen is where you could meet the other people.
Additionally, we have many clothes horses, vacuum cleaners, brooms etc.
There’s a laundry room with washing machines and a dryer. One wash cycle costs 2 euros.
You can buy one of those WiFi Hotspots or just ask someone in the house if you can join their WiFi. I did it like that and paid 5 euros per month.

You can create your social life here like you want to! If you want to just greet the other ones or have a talk with them that’s your choice. You don’t need to, if you don’t want to socialize with them :)
There are a lot of barbecues in the summer here, because all the houses have yards. That’s where you could meet the students from the other houses. Also we have a clubhouse. It’s mostly used for parties but you could also just hang out there or play the piano or the drums.
And if you want to get active, we have a basketball hoop, a volleyball court and a ping-pong table.

I really love the location of the dorm! The city train (S-Bahn) line S7 is just a two minute walk away. It’s two stops from the western city center. The line is super convenient, it takes you straight through the city center to the eastern center of Berlin in 20 minutes. At the same time it’s super green and calm here. We have the Grunewald forest right around the corner which is perfect for walks, jogging or other activities :) it’s a nice neighborhood with friendly people.

5 minute walk away from two supermarkets - Edeka and Rewe
two bus lines - M19 (in 10 minutes at Kurfürstendamm, to Kreuzberg) and 186 (to FU)
So you have an easy access to public transit :)
FU - 20 min away by bus
TU - 10 min away by S-Bahn
HU - 20 min away by S-Bahn
UdK - 10 min away by S-Bahn

The waiting time for a room in this dorm is up to two or three semesters so it’s a good opportunity to quickly get a room for a super cheap price.

There’s one condition to it - you have to be immatriculated at an university or college here in Berlin for summer semester 2018.
