The apartment has in total about 85m2. We have 3 rooms, of which you will 2 for yourself. The bedroom is 18m2 and the other room 10m2. Me and my flatmate have the agreement, that I can use the small room as my home office during work hours and after that it is open for common usage. In the evening, we mostly spend our time here chilling together or watching Netflix and sometimes to play video games.
I will leave all my stuff here. You can of course use anything that I left behind. I am moving abroad, but probably I will not move back to Berlin. So, chances are high, that we can extend your stay. Anmeldung is NOT possible, but after 6 months, in case I won't return to Berlin, I will step out of the contract and you can sign a new contract with the landlord (hopefully they play along).
Location is perfect in the heart of vibrant Friedrichshain area but still in a quiet street. The bedroom is facing the inner courtyard, so you will have no problems with loud noises.
Just about 5min walk will take you to Boxi, where you have plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes etc.
The closest metro line is the U-5 Samariterstrasse (5 minutes)
Frankfurter Allee station is almost around the corner, from there you have access to the ringbahn/s-bahn as well as U-5 (10 minutes)
Reaching the airport is also very convenient, as you can take the FEX train from Ostkreuz, which is about a 15min walk from home.
Tram station Traveplatz is a 1min walk. You can take line 16 and M13.
This sublet is only available for 1 person. Unfortunately, we will not accept couples/partners, who want to live together. This is not suitable for you then, I am sorry. Of course your guests are always more than welcome to come and stay, I loved having people here!
You will be living with Alican. He is a 32 year old data scientist, loves going to comedy shows or sometimes he goes on stage himself! He would like to live with someone like minded, who is an easy-going person and has a stable life and job.
We have lived together for 2.5 years but we know each other since high school, that's why we are really good friends and spend a lot of time inside and outside of the WG life. Obviously it will be hard to find the same dynamics but Alican wishes to become friends with his new flatmate and do stuff together occasionally.
The rent is 700€ with all the utilities included.
