I am looking to find a MAIN TENANT roommate interested in becoming the main tenant on a TWO YEAR apartment in Friedrichshain with me. I am a 24 year old from the US here studying a two yr master's in biochemistry. I previously worked in biotech for the past several years.
I am looking for a roommate who would take the bigger room which is approx 21m^2. The cold rent for the entire apartment is 1,149 euro and warm is ~1,349 (~200extra/month) and would then be split with the large room paying slightly more with room for negotiation of course (700-725). There is no living room however there is an eat-in fitted kitchen and your larger bedroom has room for a sofa and a bed making it very liveable.
About me:
I am easygoing, clean, and responsible. I consider myself to be outgoing and social but want to have my apartment be a peaceful place for me to wind down. I am pretty busy with my masters program and would be fine living with someone as just a nice roommate who does their own thing however I would prefer to live with someone who is interested in occasionally cooking together, making cocktails (two of my favorite things) or other chill roommate activities - time permitting and respecting that people have their own busy lives. For the last two years I had my own 2-WG flatshare similar to the scenario I have described and went very well - looking to continue having a laidback and easy living situation with the right person.
