Hey y‘all,
we are a 4 people shared flat in berlin karlshorst. karlshorst is 3 s-bahn stations from warschauer straße, so if youre having an east centered lifestyle in berlin (friedrichshain, prenzlberg, neukölln, lichtenberg) youre really well connected and still living in a cute and calm neighbourhood with options to be in nature super easily by feet. at the rennbahn karlshorst you can take runs and also visit the really nice fleamarket that is taking place once a month. wuhlheide is also really close, a nice natural forest area were also a lot of concerts happen in summer. the s bahn station karlshorst is a six minute walk from our house. you have like six grocery stores around the corner.
we are 4 people and we all do really different stuff in life. nevertheless we focus on a cozy, considering and familiar attitude towards each other. i‘d like to give you a short introduction regarding your future roommates:
- eddy is originally from france. he works in a kindergarden in kreuzberg and as a babysitter. in his freetime he is really open to go to parties and clubs, to have a little apero on the balcony or playing a party of chess together. he is also always considerating the interieur and open for some diy sessions or some summerroll nights.
- lea is finally in the final end of her law studies. she is a climate activist and works for a ngo in berlin. she loves movement and sports. shes taking runs nearly everyday and does capoeira twice a werk. she loves to prepare fresh food and you can find her easily in the kitchen and have a cup of tea with her.
- elin works in a group with people with disabilities. she is a really nice and calm soul and a creative brain. she loves to make stop motion movies by herself and jamming with other random people who also love to jam. she really enjoys to find time with herself. she has a really good sense of humour.
among the four of us we speak english in the flat. even though eddy is taking german lessons its more fluent for all of us to communicate in english. thats why were also open for other people from all other nations. we are also a safe place for trans/lgbtqia+ people. our household is nearly meat free. i am vegan, lea eats mostly vegan, eddy is flexible but 90% of the time vegetarian and for elin it is the same. i think we all try to consume consciously.
we are looking for someone who is open-minded, understanding and able to communicate. when i sublet my room before, the person who moved to my room was extremly uncommunicative and shy. therefore my roommates didnt feel at home like this. of course it is okay to be introverted/extroverted / or both mixed at the same time, but you should be able to communicate your needs/opinions with your roommates and be interested to create a good vibe at our home!!! that is very important to us :)
i have some plants in my room, therefore it is really important to me that you would take care of them (i can write you a master plan how to treat these ladies)
