23 square meter room in Gräfekiez is looking for a new resident

A beautiful, bright, and large room in a typical Altbau apartment will become available. It is about 23 square meters and has white lacquered wooden floors.

I'm looking for someone who is interested in living together with me for 3 months. There's the possibility to extend the period, but for now, I'd like to commit only for 3 months and see how it goes.

The apartment measures a total of 85 square meters and has 3.50-meter-high ceilings. It is not freshly renovated but in good condition: spacious but not fancy. There's a small but well-equipped kitchen and a small bathroom with a shower, along with a living/dining room with a cozy seating area. The internet is fast - we have a 100,000 line - so you can definitely work from home well. Unfortunately, we don't have a basement.

However, we do have the best location right in the heart of KreuzKölln. Life pulsates outside the door, and in spring and summer, this neighborhood is one of the most beautiful areas in Berlin - in my opinion. Right outside the door, you'll find great bars, restaurants, galleries, and small shops. The Maybachufer with its multicultural markets is also just around the corner. The park Hasenheide is nearby, and despite the very urban environment, there is a lot of greenery and water, which invite you to spend time outdoors.

I've quit smoking and would prefer a non-smoking flatshare. Of course, you can smoke in your room as you wish. It's important to me not to live in a so-called purpose-driven flatshare. I'm interested in a relaxed coexistence, and I would be happy to share moments with you by cooking or eating together.

It would be great to live with an English native speaker. Although this means leaving my comfort zone for me - but I would find it really great to overcome the language barrier and become more fluent. I would like to be as confident and funny in English as in my native language and would love to meet someone who doesn't judge me for the German accent, is benevolent, and enjoys pointing out grammar mistakes. Of course, I'd also be happy to teach you a bit of German - if you'd like. Gender-fluid, queer, non-binary people are super welcome. And if you have a dog - even better. I love dogs. He just needs to be able to be alone for a few hours without barking.

Here are the hard facts: Registration is unfortunately not possible. The room costs 750 euros/month. The deposit is 1200 euros. The room can be rented unfurnished or partially furnished.

>> Ideally, moving in on Sunday, March 25th would be great because I won't be in Berlin from March 26th to April 6th. If moving in on April 1st, a friend would let you in - it would be a bit impersonal, but it would work :)
