Hello!
Our names are Eva and Lucas and we are looking for a new flatmate that could move in as early as 1st of February.
Wir können auch Deutsch, aber nicht besonders gut. Also, es wäre für uns am einfachsten, Nachrichten und Interviews auf Englisch zu machen.
About the flat and room:
The apartment is central, just off of Lausitzer Platz in eastern Kreuzberg. The nearest u-bahn station is U Görlitzer Bahnhof, a couple minutes walk away. Martkhalle Neun and a Lidl are around the corner, and multiple BioCompany, Rewe, and niche grocery stores are within a 5-10 minute walk. The area is filled with Imbiss, restaurants, and bars, and Görlitzer Park is just across the street. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and is large for 3 people, around 126 square meters, including 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, two balconies, and a living room. The bedroom and living room windows all face south with only some branches and leaves blocking the sun, so it gets beautifully bright on sunny days. Your bedroom is just under 16 square meters, and can optionally come semi-furnished (as in the pictures) or completely empty. The rest of the flat is fully furnished, but we are open to changes and your influence :)
About you:
We would love to find someone who brings a new energy to the apartment and enjoys a semi-communal living situation. We are queer/bipoc welcoming. We like to cook together, go climbing together, converse a night away in the living room together, while also having our separate lives. We like meeting one another’s friends and would like to meet yours, but do not regularly have parties–even in pre-corona times. We have a weekly cleaning schedule and would hope that you help keep the flat relatively tidy. Smokers are welcome but there is no smoking inside the flat.
You must be vaccinated.
About us:
Lucas came to Berlin 4 years ago to live abroad for a bit, learn a new language, and take a break from studying. He likes Berlin because of the people he has met, the endless opportunities to try new things, and because of the open atmosphere the city carries. He spends most of his time on studying again, various sports, and checking out new walks and lakes around Berlin.
Eva is, 27, has been living in Berlin for 4 years as well. She loves music; is a classical pianist, and a bedroom DJ and producer. She loves food, sports, dancing but also likes to stay low key with friends and a glass of wine. She currently works full time, hybrid home office and in person, making instruments, bleeps, and bloops at Native Instruments.

The room costs €600/month including everything This includes kaltmiete, nebenkosten, heating, electricity, internet, and radio+tv taxes.
We would like to find someone who would plan to live here long term, for at least 6 months. During the first 6 months, either party can give a 1 month notice for terminating the contract.
