The room is very bright because of two windows and also includes a small balcony (2,5m^2).
It comes mostly unfurnished with exception of a shelf which is part of the additional costs (260€ paid one time).
These costs also include recent costs for the kitchen, bathroom, and washer.
Optionally you can take over the desk for 20€.
Together we share the kitchen and the bathroom.
The location in Lichtenberg is quiet but well connected because of the S+U Bahnstation Lichtenberg which is only 5 minutes by foot. Although there is a big street in front of the house you don´t hear anything inside. Friedrichshain with many options to go out is very close and you´re at the Alexanderplatz in about 20 minutes. Possibilities for grocery shopping like Lidl, Penny, Edeka are also easily reachable by foot.
You´re housemates:
Tobi:
I´m Tobi, 25 years old from Germany. I just moved into the apartment 3 months ago. During the week I´m mostly busy with my work as a consultant but you will meet me in the evening in the kitchen because I enjoy cooking a lot.
On the weekends I love to spend time with friends like going to bars, partying, watching football, drinking coffee, or chilling outside in the summer.
I´m also enthusiastic about fitness training and it would be perfect to do some of the things I mentioned together with my housemates.
Jean:
I’m Jean, I’m 24 and I’ve lived in Germany for the past one and half years. I´ll move into the apartment in February. I’m originally from Nicaragua but I’ve also lived in Panama, Scotland, and Spain. I now work doing marketing for an AI startup here in Berlin. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, having a good conversation over coffee or a beer, and visiting museums. On the weekends I also like to go out dancing or do small weekend trips but this has been pretty limited during corona. This year I’m trying to get back into the fit life and start running and swimming again :)
When sharing a house I try to create a good environment and respect others’ needs. Communication and empathy should be at the base of everything. I appreciate getting to know each other better by having a meal together or spending time as a WG from time to time, but of course, privacy and alone time are respected as well. Lastly, I believe a Putzplan to keep common areas is always helpful :)
It would be a big advantage if you have proof of monthly income to become a main tenant (requirement of the landlord).
Otherwise, a subleasing contract would be possible.
