Please only message in English, and if you are in permanent full time employment, and you meet the age criteria.
I have a big bright rom, overlooking a quiet courtyard, and pretty central - close to Hansaplatz U-bahn, and Bellevue and Tiergarten S-Bahn. The room is offered from Mid May for one year. The room is rented furnished, though in the interest of transparancy it will be quite rudimentary. I will provide a table, chair, drawers, and a double bed with mattress. Hopefully that's enough to get you settled in though. There's locked indoor bike storage and plenty of cellar space. The rent is 600 per month which covers everything.
Located in Moabit, it's 5 minutes to Hansaplatz or Turmstarasse U-Bahn, 10 minutes to Tiergarten or Bellevue S-bahn, and there's a bus stop right outside. It's also super close to the river and Tiergarten for running, walking, reading, relaxing with a beer. There's Rewe, Edeka, and Kaufland all withing walking distance, pretty much everything you need close by.
I'm a (young) 41 year old (no kids, no divorces) PhD candidate in my 3rd year. I like to get out of the house when I can and explore green spaces, go for a run a couple times a week, climbing, ride my bike to a lake in the summer, make the most of Museum Sundays in the winter. At home I like to watch all sorts of movies, cook (and share), read, play chess, and have a good chat over a wine or beer. I fully don't expect we becomes besties (!) but I do want at least some social aspect to the flat.
I'm looking for someone who is happy to socialise but also respects privacy. I don't care about your dietary preferences (I'm not veggie/vegan but don't cook meat very often), just don't be AfD please. Oh, and though I'm straight, you must be LGBTQI+ friendly, I don't have any time for homophobes or transphobes. You should be clean too, I'm not a young student anymore! Obviously you're welcome to have friends around, I like a bit of life here, but I should be clear it's not a party flat. I do speak Spanish and German to about A2, but I want to improve so if you're fluent in either that would be a bonus! Other than that I'm pretty open to who you are!
