Spacios room with balcony in Moabit for 6 months (Extension and ANMELDUNG POSSIBLE)

The apartment is in a quiet area in a family neighbourhood. Needless to say, the area is fairly safe compared to many other districts of Berlin. The location of the apartment in Moabit right by the Ringbahn station Westhafen (7 min by foot) is unbeatable! U9 Birkenstraße is also 7 min by foot. With the U9 you are perfectly connected to the landmarks of Berlin as well as to the hip bar and party areas. Apart from these, you can take bus M27 (4 min on foot) and in 10 minutes you can arrive at U6 Reinickendorfer Straße. You can also take bus 123 which takes you to Hauptbahnhof in 15 minutes. Also by taking Ringbahn, you can easily go to Gesundbrunnen to transfer to U8 or to Wedding to transfer to U6.
There are plenty of supermarkets nearby. Penny (5 min), Lidl (7 min), huge Edeka Center (7 min), and Kaufland (10 min) are accessible by foot. You can also walk 15 mins to Turmstraße, where a lot of cafes, supermarkets, D&M, shopping malls and gym centres are located.

If you like to go for a walk or jog, you can go to Volkspark Rehberg, Fritz-Schloß-Park or Tiergarten. Uferweg is another option for you to have a chill walk which is located right near the Spree. We acknowledge that Moabit is not the most popular neighbourhood in Berlin, but it still offers a variety of options in one package!

The apartment is super spacious and bright, with large windows that let in lots of natural light. The furniture is modern and the apartment has high ceilings and wooden floors. It is fully furnished – just move in with your suitcase!
There is an open kitchen with a dining area and a living room. In the living room, there is a comfortable couch, a TV, a TV unit and two armchairs. In the dining area, there is a dining table for six people with six chairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped. In the kitchen, we have a toaster, filter coffee machine, microwave, two fridges, water cooker, and oven. There is also a washing machine so you can conveniently do your laundry in the apartment.
It goes without saying, there is a WIFI connection - and it is fast!

You will have two roommates who are nice people ( From our perspective) 😊 We are Beril and Ufuk, young professionals who are working in Berlin as ex-pats. Beril (27) is a lawyer who is working from the home every day during the week. Ufuk (31) is an energy analyst and goes to the office most days. We are open-minded, easygoing, open and communicative. We believe that communication is the key to living together in peace and serenity.

We speak English and Turkish and are learning German for a while. It is a hard duty though! Thus, German speakers are appreciated! 😊 Other languages and nationalities are naturally welcomed in our flat.

And just to make everything clear...The flat share is for calm people to rest are recover after work. Therefore, it is not a party WG😊 If you are expecting a flat with lots of things going on every day, this is not your dream flat. Don't be afraid, it doesn't have to be entirely boring ! We also cook together often and occasionally have movie nights in the living room if we have enough energy after long hours of working😊 Do you have better ideas? Just pass it on!

Unfortunately, we can accept pets in our flat for the moment. Besides, couples are not considered potential flatmates for this room!

There are two bathrooms in the apartment, and one is private. Therefore, you will share the bathroom with Beril only.
We have a weekly cleaning schedule in that we share duties equally. We buy essentials (some food and cleaning items) for the house together and split the costs for these.
