Hello everybody!
I just moved in to this amazing apartment and I'm looking for 2 to 3 new roomates 🥳
About the rooms and apartment:
The building is old but the whole apartment was renovated last year, so everything is shining bright like a diamond 💎. The renovation included brand new floor, new fitted kitchen, new oven, dishwasher and so on... The apartment is in the 3rd floor.
There are 3 empty rooms, all similar in prices and sizes (around 18m2 - between €550 and €595 warm, doesn't include WIFI or electricity). They all have floor heating, TV-WIFI connection and huge windows super well isolated.
One of the rooms is closed for now because a lil french balcony is being built there. The other two rooms are about 20m2, one of them faces the courtyard and the other one faces south, towards the train.
The bathroom is also super modern and it has a big nice shower and a separate bathtub. The bathroom is shared for the whole WG, so long baths need to be scheduled to avoid potential disaster 😉
When I moved in the apartment was completely empty so I invested some money in furniture, etc - whoever moves in would have to pay a part of that to share the costs (it's not a loot if we divide it by 3 or 4).
The house is located right next to Neukölln S+U (ring) and close to multiple buses, so couldn't be better connected.
It's in the middle of Karl Marx Strasse, so there're lots of supermarkets around the block, restaurants, bars, tons of fast food and a lot of movement, but because the building is a hinterhaus it's not entirely chaotic.
My name is Pili (27), I come from Chile and I've been living in Berlin for almost 2 years now and I'm a designer.
Before moving in here, I was living in a 6-people WG, and because of Mietendeckel reasons we all had to move out and follow our own separate paths . I decided to come here and start a new WG, because I enjoy the WG lifestyle and meeting new ppl.
I'm looking for a good fit and good vibe, but the landlord has some restriction of his own:
- 23 to 35 years old
- Only young professionals - unfortunately no students (unless you are a professional that studies / not a student that works)
- He wants a mixed genders apartment
- People who want to enjoy the WG life in the evenings/weekends with each other
- No 2 ppl in one room
- No pets
From my side, I'm looking for:
- Either german or international cool people - would be nice to have at least one german speaker in the household
- Roommates that have a sense of togetherness, so we can cook together or have a beer in the balcony when we are all here, but also have their lives in Berlin sorted, so are independent and have their own worlds / friends :)
- People that ofc are respectful and care about others, and that are open minded.
- People that like to really live in the house and share with friends, but that are also clean and tidy.
- People that want to properly celebrate bdays and other "WG milestones" but don't want to party here every day :)
