Hey!
My name is James, 32, from London and in Berlin since 2017. I am currently studying and looking for someone to live with during this period (now until January) and potentially beyond.
The flat is lovely, on the 4th floor, high ceilinged and in a fantastic location. The room I have not measured, I would say 16 sqm, excluding the balcony. The whole flat is very bright and the balcony gets the sun in the mornings until 1pm (there are blackout blinds so you won’t be woken up by it ;)
The area, if you’re not super familiar with Berlin, is really fun. A cozy, vibrant neighbourhood. The flat is 2 minutes walk from Tempelhofer feld and also 2 minutes walk from U8 Boddinstrasse (7 mins to Kreuzberg Kottbusser Tor, 16 mins to Alexanderplatz). The immediate area is full of coffee shops, bars and restaurants and there is a Saturday market pretty much on the doorstep. The flat is also good from a noise perspective despite the busy location.
I’m looking for someone who is easy to get along with and friendly- ideally someone who is looking for more or less the same. A bit about me: I'm interested in politics, songwriting, photography, football. Enjoy playing table tennis and basketball and meeting up with friends in the evenings.
I’m quite social and outgoing but at home, when living with other people, I like it to be a quiet and respectful environment. In terms of my routine, I’m studying so will be in and out of the flat, spending a lot of time in coffee shops during the day. My girlfriend has her own flat in NK, so I will spend a lot of evenings there. If you’re interested I would love to hear a bit about you, what are you doing in Berlin, what your routine is, social media link etc (I’m @diane_airbrush).
