I'm leaving Berlin for a few months so my furnished room will be available for a that period. Move-in/move-out date kinda flexible (+/- a few days) and could be discussed depending on your situation.
The furniture in the room includes a (very comfy) bed, desk and office chair, a few Expedit shelves and a few other little things (mirror, rug etc) so basically ready to move in!
Kitchen and bathroom include most of the essentials. We don't own washing maching unfortunately but there's a laundromat on Reuterstr. which is a only 4 minute walk from the flat so hopefully not that big of a deal.
If you have a bike, you could store this in the Hinterhof.
Beautiful location close to Maybachufer (great for autumn walks :), lots of cafes/bars/grocery stores/everything you need around the corner.
BusM29 stops almost right outside the flat and Hermannplatz (U8/U7) is closeby as well.
My roommate (who you would be living with) finished his Masters (cultural studies) last year and recently started a full time position that enables him to work from home 2-3 days/week. Since I've also been studying from home up until recently (like everyone, I guess) we both have gotten accustomed to a pretty chill, quiet home life and would probably like to keep it this way.
My roommate likes to go out on the weekends or check out events (film festivals) though so there'd probably a lot of options to do stuff together (if interested) but mostly the partying happens outside the flat and the flat kind of remains this cozy retreat :)
Since I won't be in the flat myself and will have to leave some personal belongings in my room, I hope to find someone that I can trust with these things who ideally likes things clean and tidy too ;)
I guess, due to the time frame in which the room is available (now till ~April) this would probably work well for someone who is studying here this winter semester but in the end whether you're a student, work here doesn't really matter as long as you are respectful, tolerant and interested in the room :)
[I know age is just a number but my roommate turned 30 recently so if you're 19/20 and just came here, maybe that wouldn't be the greatest fit although this is probably oversimplified (there are probably "mature" 20year-olds out there, sorry guys ;) but thought I'd still mention...]
Just tell us a bit about yourself/what you are doing in Berlin etc and hopefully we'll get a chance to know each other/show you the flat in person..
I'm kinda flexible right now but we were thinking of inviting some people to come take a look at the flat maybe this Friday (5th) or Sunday (7th) so maybe already mention in your message when you might be available! Thanks!
