Bright, spacious room in RIXDORF, NEUKÖLLN
Hi everyone!
I'm heading out of Berlin for 5 weeks and am looking for someone who'd like to sublet my room and take care of my plants while I'm away.
It's perfectly located in the heart of Neukölln (Rixdorf), surrounded by many great pubs, cafés, art galleries, parks, pingpong tables, spätis and supermarkets. The grass isn't greener on any other side.
Availability is from 9 April - 15 March
Shared kitchen and bathroom with bathtub
WG with 3 other flatmates (German, American, S. Korean)
No smoking or pets please!
The room includes a little indoor sun balcony to enjoy as the days start getting longer again :)
As it's just a temporary sublet, there is no option for anmeldung.
2 minutes walk to the Ringbahn (S41/S42) at Sonnenallee S-bahn station. We're also 5 minutes walk from Karl-Marx-Straße U-bahn.
Everything you need a few streets away on the Karl-Marx Straße or Sonnenallee, yet tucked away in charming and quieter Rixdorf.
Every Wednesday and Sunday there's a fruit and vegetable market down the road, and 3 decent supermarkets within 5 minutes walk.
If you head West you will be right at Tempelhofer Feld, if you head East you hit Weserstraße and Maybachufer.
You'll be sharing the WG with:
A woman from Argentina, 23, photographer
A woman from Korea, 31, UX designer
A man from Germany, 31, freelance documentary producer
We came to Berlin to embrace the madness of this town and to have a peaceful place to come home to.
Emphasis on the last part. We cherish open minded and humorous people who have the social skills to see when someone likes to hang and chat or when he/she is cooking for meditation and would rather be left alone. We like to treat our common rooms like the swedish forest: Leave it as you found it and the bears will be happy.
We are all quite busy working during the day mostly at home, so we appreciate it being reasonably quiet for focus. However, we often stop to enjoy a chat over some tea, wine or dinner in the evenings.
If you're interested in taking the room, I would kindly ask you to attach your facebook or instagram page so I can make sure you are not Lord Voldemort ;)
Looking forward to hearing from you and arranging a viewing if it's a good fit.
Feel free to reach out any time.
