Hello there!
SHORT-TERM ONLY: A beautiful 4-room 120sqm alt-bau in Neukolln placed between the canal and Rixdorf at the quiet end of Sonnenallee. I'm relocating to London for two months between April to June so my room will be available in a lovely & gorge flat in Rixdorf with one wonderful lady.
The apartment was recently renovated, all the rooms have high ceilings and stucco, seveand ral rooms have parquet flooring whilst the others have new floorboards, the kitchen we installed two years ago and has all the fixtures and fittings including a dishwasher. The bathroom is fully fitted modern and clean with a bath and shower integrated and the washing machine is only a year old. From all the rooms there are lovely views of trees and the traffic from the street is quiet. In the living room, we have a projector and full sound system including decks. There is a shared garden for joint use, and no back house, meaning lots of light all day long! The flat is AWESOME.
Your Room
The room comes furnished, but you are also welcome to bring any additional bits. It is 30sqm with high ceilings, stucco, and big beautiful windows, the layout is long with a huge bay windows overlooking the garden with no hinterhof so lots of natural light coming in + you have plenty of options for how to place your things. The room gets the sun in the morning and is bright all day. It is fully furnished with everything you need.
The transport links are great with the M41 bus only a minutes walk, Sonnenallee S-bahn only 5 minutes walk away, and Karl Marx Str. U-bahn only 10 minutes walk away.
At the edge of Rixdorf the beautiful Richardplatz is just around the corner, the canal is just 2 blocks away, and tempelhof a short cycle. There are lovely restaurants within walking distance as well as all the buzzy bars of Neukolln.
About us
My partner Josh who will be your roommate, he is a 31-year-old creative professional working in the music & culture industry. He is super lovely, super clean and open-mindedd. He is vegetarian and loves cooking, he loves playing records, going to live music, galleries and museums. There's a big book collection for any avid readers to get stuck into. He's learning German but isn't yet fluent. He grew up in the UK and Brazil and loves to travel. He also LOVES plants, we have a lot of them in every room.
Holly usually visits once a month and Josh spends longer in London as his company also have an office there. Holly is also 31 and working as a creative, I'm also vegetarian and love cooking, artsand , culture, reading. Josh will also be visiting me from time to time, so the apartment will sometimes be all yours!
About you
We are looking for someone who wants to make a proper home in Berlin. Someone working, sociable, open minded and nice. Hopefully also a plant lover.
