I am the owner of this 2-room apartment and I am looking for a second tenant to move into one of the rooms. One of the rooms is already occupied by a friendly guy from the UK who is working in Berlin as a software engineer for a tech startup. There is one room still available (see images) that can be moved in as soon as possible. Ideally, I am looking for somebody who wants to stay long-term (12+ months). Anmeldung is possible!
The apartment is on the 4th floor of a typical Berlin Altbau and is located in the very centre of popular Pankow. The apartment has 63 square metres in total and has two rooms that are connected via a spacious hallway. In the hallway there is an extra storage room. If you need more storage, you can also use the big basement. The kitchen is large enough to hang out with friends. The kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge and dishes.
The apartment is located in the centre of Pankow. Pankow is generally known for its green and quiet parks but it is also valued by many for its well connected public transport and proximity to the city.
The tram line M1 stops right in front of the apartment and will bring you to Alexanderplatz in 20 min. You can reach the S-Bahn and U-Bahn station Pankow with a 9-minute walk. From there you are both connected to the U2 and S2/S8 lines that will take you to the city.
Within a short walk there are many shops and super markets, e.g. the big mall “Rathaus-Center” is just around the corner as is the weekly farmer’s market. In the street parallel to Schönholzer Straße, you will find the atmospheric “Florakiez” with all its popular cafes and shops. If you like parks, you will find “Bürgerpark” and “Schlosspark” – both big and lively parks that are popular in summer.
