Due to a 3 month trip, we are searching for a person to take the room from January to the 23rd of April. Rent for a whole month is 370. For January would be 270 as well as for April. The room is quite bright and cozy. It has a desk, clothes hangers and a huge bed. The kitchen is small but cozy, we have a washing machine and a basement to store some stuff. There is a huge Hinterhof where to keep safe the bikes and do BBQs. It is unfortunately not possible to smoke in the WG, this has been already a problem with the landlord, so please keep this in mind.
It is diagonal from the Kulturbrauerei, 2 mins from Kastanien Allee, a street full with bars and places to eat, 5 mins from Mauerpark, in between the U2 stations of Senefelderplatz and Eberswalderstr plus a strong connection with trams with the m1 and m12 in kastanien allee and the glorious m10 on Danzigerstr that runs the whole night. A Rewe and Lidl are close to buy groceries, and Alexanderplatz is reachable in 15 mins by foot or 2 metro stops.
Live as you want: close the door, keep it open, hang out in the kitchen, never be there, is your home in Berlin, feel comfortable. It is not a Party WG, mainly because there's no place and people will complain with lots of loud noises after certain time, but we haven't had any problem having people around for normal drinking. If you need to see every spot sparkly brilliant this is not the right place for you. The cleaning standards, 10 being the Ritz Carlton and 1 being that cheap under $1 hostel you found in your backpacking trips in overcrowded cities that gave you bedbugs, this is a 7: a backpacker's hostel in Seattle. One special feature is that there is a 3rd room. This belong to the landlord, a lovely German lady that comes to Berlin every once in a while and stays there for a couple of days. She is super relaxed and will never get in your way. It is a special request from her that we only accept people that are able to speak some german.
Your flatmate will be Ruffo, a very cool chilean guy that is into making his own eclectic electronic music, finding stuff in the streets (his is very good at that), beer and roller skating (an absolute master).
If you are interested write a short email presenting yourself and include if you want your FB/Instagram profile, it helps to get an idea of the other person. We want to make a viewing soon as we want someone asap moving in. Please only write if you can be in Berlin and make it this weekend or early next week during the day. We will try to make it one by one personal meetings, not those sadistic castings that call 20 people at the same time. Yes, you can bring a beer.
