Hi, I'm Luke,
growing up in Germany with a Spanish mom, I grew up between two relatively different cultures, and love and live multi-culturality. I am an introverted extrovert, love theatre, acting, singing, dancing, politics in a wider sense, philosophy and weird lifestyles, but make a living through coding, which also fascinates me. In april my brother moves in and until then somebody else can call it home.
We live in a very bright flat with with spacious rooms, high ceilings and big windows. All rooms enjoy plenty of natural light all day long, and you can see lots of sky from your windows. The street is a quite one. The flat features a shared kitchen that is fully equipped with everything (including dishwasher) you need to cook and prepare your meals, as well as a bathroom including a bathtub.. :)
The room is equipped with a Bed, a Wardrobe and a Desk.
Rent is 500€ all included (100Mbit/s Internet, Water, Gas, Electricity)
The building is located in the Weitlingkiez, where you will have literally everything you need around the corner. Even a Supermarket that is open 365 days. The area itself, even though it is not Kreuzberg, is "kiezig", meaning well lived. Also, it is very well connected with public transportation such that it is only 3 S-Bahn stops until Warschauer Straße and 25mins until Hauptbahnhof. The S-Bahn station is 5mins from our door. The U5 is 7 minutes from our house.
This is a short term subrent from now until March 31st.
The flat is located in the Weitlingkiez (Rummelsburg/Lichtenberg) just outside of the SBahn Ring.
The seemingly remote location is not a big deal, since there is a great link to public transport (see below). The Weitlingkiez is a very pleasant Kiez, architecturally similar to Friedrichshain but with more ordinary kind of people. Within 5mins of walking distance you have the Lichtenberg Station with everything you need:
Pharmacy, Edeka, Rossmann, Penny Markt, Arab supermarket, Library, Flower-shop, and many restaurants and take-aways (even a Sahara Grill just opened here)
