Hiya! I’m looking for a new long-term housemate, since my current housemate has moved out. Preferably you would stay for a year or more starting from now.
The room is a cosy 17 square meters. The apartment itself has two rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom, with plenty of room in the storage space in the basement. We are on the second floor and there is no elevator. The furniture in your bedroom can be taken over for 250 euros (noted in the Ablösevereinbarung) and they would belong to you meaning you could sell them or use them while you live here. You can also paint the walls and decorate the room in whichever way you like.
The couch you see in the pictures is in my room and of course, you can also use it during the day. We have a lease until 2025, so you are welcome to stay as long as you’d like! An Anmeldung would also be possible.
The apartment is situated on the very long street Grazer Damm in Schöneberg. The closest S-Bahn station is Priesterweg (about 10 minutes by walking) and you can reach city center in 20 minutes altogether. We are also 20-30 minutes away from the FU depending on whether you take the bus or cycle and about 30 minutes away from the TU and HU campuses in Mitte. The closest U-Bahn is reachable with a 5-minute bus ride and it’s the U9. A large Lidl and a Rewe are also a short walk from us.
More about me: I’m Gülru. I’m a psychology student doing her master’s in berlin and I work two days a week in person starting in march. The rest of the time I like to read, do yoga, bake, write, watch movies and meet with friends. I would also love it if we would be able to have a coffee together or go on a walk together now and then during the time we live together. I’m vegetarian myself but I’m not bothered by meat, so you’re free to cook that as well. Ich kann auch einigermaßen gut Deutsch, aber find’s auf Englisch angenehmer. I’m triple vaccinated and it very is important that you are also vaccinated.
Queer and LGBT-friendly living space
I have a 4-month-old kitten called Artie, who is very lovable and playful. You don’t need to worry about her care or anything, but she is a joy to have around.
