We're searching for a new roommate as our wonderful Nika is sadly leaving us to return to the Netherlands.
The room, while small, is incredibly cozy nestled under the roof, with a large window offering a view of our garden. It's the perfect spot to unwind and snuggle with Nisse (one of our two furry flatmates and your closest companion, as your room is actually hers). Despite its size, there's lots of communal space available for your use, including a spacious living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a dining area. The room comes furnished with a bed, a desk, and a closet.
Our lovely house is located 10 minutes by foot from Wannsee S-Bahn station. From here, you can easily reach Berlin or Potsdam with the Regio, S1, and S7 lines. It takes 17 minutes to Friedrichstrasse (Humboldt University), 10 minutes to the Zoo (Technical University), and 10 minutes to Potsdam. About 5 minutes away is a pier on the Wannsee, which we are allowed to use to go swiming in the summer (or winter, if you’re brave enough). The large Grunewald forest is also near by.
The area is mostly quiet, except when we host one of our themed partys hehe:)
Here it gets interesting ;)
Sara (25) is studying social work, loves to piant, play music and sings in a choir. She always wears something red (and if not red, then COLORFUL).
Sofus (22) is studying philosophy and math and is usually found either at the university or on his velvety green armchair with Mis (second flatmate cat). He sings in the same choir as Sara, boulders, enjoys going clubing, and, if motivated enough, jumps into the Wannsee at minus 10 degrees.
Sara and Sofus are siblings and both speak Danish.
Luca (27) is studying Technical Environmental Protection at the TU and if you wonder if he's still alive, just listen for the sounds of his ukulele. Even though he sometimes disappears into his room, you can always talk to him about anything.
We live in a collective shared apartment, which means, among other things, that we are not just a purposeful flatshare and share pretty much all groceries. Don't worry, you still get your own compartment in the fridge. We also value cleanliness and keeping the bathroom, kitchen, and hallway clean is easily manageable.
We host a big themed party every few months, where we go all out with costumes and decorations. Additionally, about once a month, we organize one of our creative days, providing a space for all our friends to engage in crafting, painting, gardening activities, or simply hang out in our garden.
We value honest and open communication and respect (there’s absolutely no space for homophobia, sexism, ableism, and racism). And if you need some Me-Time, at most Nisse (one ofthe cats) will bother you.
There’s a dishwasher, a garage to store bikes and a basement with a washing machine.
The house is surrounded by a big garden with two terraces and a trampoline.
If you're interested in the shared apartment, feel free to write to us.
P.S. You must be absolutely cat-friendly, as the two (especially Nisse) need A LOT of love!
