Hallo hallo!
My rommie is sadly moving out to get closer to her workplace, soooo I am looking for a new roommate!
The flat is 81sq/m, last floor, Altbau, three rooms, kitchen (big enough to chill out), big bathroom with bathtub.
The flat is a renovated old building, so even though it's an old construction, windows are new and walls are well insulated.
Your room is about 18 sq/m, very bright, south exposure, and you have your own balcony! :D
I personally love to get sun all day long... it’s been a life saver in winter, and the balconies gifts us with great sunsets <3
if you want to, you can keep the furniture (details to be discussed with current roommate :))
To be honest, even though Wedding is not the fanciest Kiez in Berlin, I do believe that it's in the "cool side of Wedding": it's close to the river and I found some hidden gems around in the neighbourhood (cafes, bars, great food!)
the flat is about 3 minutes from Osloer St U-Bahn - which has both the U8 and the U9. Imh, that's very comfortable. You can bike around quite easily, and with those lines, you are in Zoo or in Alex in 15 minutes. Plus, it's close to Gedundbrunnen and I go for a stroll at Humboldthain fairly often.
As mentioned, the flat has three rooms, so one will be me, one will be you, and the third room is up for rent as well. It's a small room (about 11 sq/m) so I am expecting a rather short-term lease for that (of course, I'd rather rent it long term. Perhaps we can look for the third flatmate together? ;))
About myself: my name is Bérangère (just Bera for friends), I am 27 years old and I am from Rome. I work full-time for a business school and I currently mainly work from home, going to the office a couple of times a week (so pleaaaase be mindful of that! :D) I am very much over my party phase, but I like to have people around, share a beer or a glass of wine. I am quite into movies, TV, and board games (I love Munchkin!) and I spend probably 3/4 of my free time at skateparks rollerskating ;)
I know I listed "german" in the languages section, but my German is truly Scheiße, and I would actually like a roommate with a good level of German because I’d love to practice it at home since I don't need it for work.
Also, I really really would like somebody who wants to stay for as long as possible, more than 1 year at least. To give myself a bit "extra" security, I'd want to involve the future roommate as a party in the lease contract, hence I'd need a Schufa (jetzt beantragen) + last three payslips or a guarantor in case you are a student :(
for the rest, let me know if you have questions und.. bis bald!
Bera
