Hey lovely people,
since I will be travelling for some time, my room in this unique WG is free for sublet. You're not going to find something similar in Berlin! The house was built in the 1920s as an officer's villa and now belongs to your flatmate Tobi, who inherited it from his Grandparents. It has all the luxuries as well as everything to please your hippie needs: a large garden with a pergola, pizza oven as well as chickens, bees and a permaculture; rooms with high raise ceilings and obviously a big hall with a crystal chandelier, a piano for you to play and big book shelves. But don't worry, we're all kind of broke as most young people in Berlin are :)
You'll get a big, spacious room with wooden floor and mixed modern / classic wood furniture. There's a big bed (2m x 1.60m), a desk, a good sound system, enough closet space for all of your fancy wardrobe and 3 armchairs to invite your friends and family. It has two doors, one leading to the hall, the other one to a small hallway connecting your room and Krys room, leading to a bathroom that you'd share only with her.
Frohnau, the "Garden City", is located in the north of Berlin. You are less than 10 walking minutes away from the forest and the old berlin wall strip, and there's small parks all around. There's birds, foxes, squirrels and racoons to watch and the air is fresh and crisp in comparison to the inner city!
Still, the next S-Bahn Station (S1) is about 3 minutes by bike or 7 minutes by foot, next bus stop is directly in front of the house (125, 220). You can get to Prenzlauer Berg or Friedrichstraße in about 30 minutes.
You'll share the house with Tobi and Krys, as well as Timo when he's back from his trip in late January. Timo sublet his room, too.
Tobi and Timo just started working as medical doctors, Krys is on the final pages of her doctor's thesis in Anthropology.
THEREFORE it is important for her to have a calm and silent athmosphere over the course of the day, since she's working from home - please be aware and respect that :)
Krys sings, plays the guitar and paints/draws a lot; our chicken are like her adopted children. She's the good soul of the house. Tobi is the craftsman, keeping a lot of stuff in check and constantly crafting something. Timo is always up for good jokes and knows all the trivia of berlin - if you need nice places to go in Berlin or Brandenburg, ask him!
Sooo... we're looking for someone who is calm and respectful, this is not a party WG - even though you most likely can expect a good new year's eve get together! Of course you are free to invite friends as you like, but most of the time, we live a rather calm life and it would be awesome if you, too, fit into that category.
It would be awesome if you bring some interest in gardens, crafting or art but it is not needed :)
P.S.: It might be possible for you to stay longer than 1st of May 2023, depending on if I prolong my travel or not - this will be decided in the next months :)
