British guy looking from April

Hi - I'm a 35 year old British designer for theatre/opera. I moved to Berlin in December, am loving it here and hope to stay here for the foreseeable future. At the moment I am studying German as I want to start working in theatre in Berlin as soon as possible.

Interests-wise, I am very into contemporary art (I draw and paint - both for work and otherwise) and theatre/dance and also like a wide range of music from classical (I was trained initially as a classical pianist and singer) and contemporary classical to folk and more current stuff (interesting singer-songwriters, alternative etc). I like going to gigs and also going to hear/dance to good techno/house/electro at weekend but I'm not a crazy party guy! I am also on a bit of a health kick at the moment and am regularly practicing pilates (and yoga) and also go to the gym. I am also meditating daily (when I remember to do it!).

I'm gay - my partner is a very lovely Greek guy called Thanos who lives in a flat in Kreuzberg - but we choose not to live together. He is a web developer.

Personality-wise, I am fairly laid-back, down-to-earth but very respectful and considerate of others I live with - I was living before in a flatshare with 2 guys (Australian and Spanish) in East London and have lived in a variety of different flat/house-shares. I really enjoy getting to know new flatmates but am always conscious of other people's privacy when they want it.

I'm looking for long term preferably but would settle for short-term if necessary.
