Hi,
I am a 24yo guy from Queensland, Australia. Earlier this year I decided that I wanted to do something different with my life, so I made plans to quit my job and move to Europe in August. I've been backpacking around Europe for about 4 months, and now I hold a 12 month Working Holiday visa in Germany. Although I am a qualified engineer, for these 12 months I will aim to get a low-stress job which covers my food and rent (such as shop or bar work). This way I can spend some time improving my German, making new friends, and adjusting to life in a new country.
So now I'm looking for a flatshare in Berlin to begin my German experience. Ideally I'd like somewhere with a cool group of flatmates, close to public transport, and with a private bedroom.
About me:
* Originally I'm from a sheep and cattle station in outback Queensland. Basically it's a massive farm with lots of animals.
* I have an Electrical/Electronics Engineering degree and 2.5 years working experience.
* I want to improve my German so I will enroll in language school once I have employment.
* I'm an average chef but I'm always willing to help with cooking.
* I spent 5 years of my life in boarding school so I'm used to living with other people with minimal privacy.
* I'm a pretty tidy and clean person, for a guy.
* I'm very outgoing and enjoy the company of others. Obviously I love to party, but I like taking it easy as well.
As I am currently unemployed, I am happy to pay for rent in advance.
If there's anything else you'd like to know, or you want a link to my Facebook, just let me know.
Cheers.
