I'm a pretty chill philosophy student looking for a new room

Hello,

as it is obvious from the fact that you are reading this on WG-Gesucht, I'm looking for a new place to live in Berlin. Sadly, I have to move out from my room in Neukölln, because my roomate found his big love, they want to live together and our appartment is not big enough for 3 people (and not because I'm a shitty roomate fyi).

ABOUT ME:

- I'm 23
- from Sofia, Bulgaria
- I have been living in Berlin for the past 4 years

What do I do here?
I study Philosophy and Social Science at the HU, currently in my 3rd semester.

So you speak German?
Yes, I do. I'm writing this in English in the hope of reaching more people

How do you support yourself?
I have a job as a working student in a company in Prenzlauer Berg that sells SEO software. My parents also send me money sometimes. (read between the lines: I pay my rent and I pay it on time)

Interests?
Music, books and art in general. I'm currently trying to learn more about the art of movies and editing. I have also taken up painting as a hobby (I kinda suck at it for now, but we all know that learning takes time). I'm also a hobby photographer.

Music?
I listen to different stuff during different times. Currently, I'm in a phase where I don't listen to so much music cause I try to be more connected with what is going on around me, but when I do I listen to techno, disco, trip hop and whatever else I find enjoyable.

Sports?
I'm a good table tennis player. I can also play tennis, but haven't done so in more than a year. I do yoga, pilattes and go running every now and then but honestly, I'm not exactly a sporty type of person.


Do you party?
Sometimes yes. I like going to Berghain the most. If there is a cool party at one of the other clubs, I might go there, although my party phase in Berlin is over and now I'm focusing on other stuff in life.


Smoking?
Yes, but I'm trying to quit and currently smoking a cigarette a day.


Describe yourself?
I'm witty, easygoing and openminden. Most of the people I meet, say that I have really good vibes. I like to help people out and tend the relationships I have with them. I'm always there for a good talk and as a shoulder to cry on.
I still take shit from no one and do not shy away from confrontation if I think that it's needed.


WHAT LIVING WITH ME IS LIKE:
- I'm mostly away from the appartment during the weekdays. Normally, I come back home around 7 and go to bed around 12. I'm mentioning this cause I would prefer to live with somebody who has a similar schedule.
- I go traveling when I have the money to do so. I also go home to Bulgaria every two months or so cause I like to spend time with my family and friends there.
- I'm clean and organized. Not OCD clean but still pretty clean.
- I do invite friends over but mostly to chill with them or watch a movie. I'm not really a big fan of throwing parties at my place.
- I like to cook. Would prefer to not live in a Zweck WG, cause cooking is more fun if you are not only doing it for yourself.
- I'm an omnivore.
- Sadly, I don't have any pets, but I love them and enjoy taking care of them.
- I don't have any furniture, so I'm looking for a furnished room.
- And last but not least, I'm respectful to my roomates. I think this should be pretty self evident but some people are really egocentric, so I thought it's worth the mention.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
A WG with likeminded people who are at a similar stage in life as me. I would prefer not to live in a Zweck WG, although I do see this as a possible option that I wouldn't have a problem with. Other than that I'd like to find roomates that would be up for a drink and a talk in the evenings or for some fun like going to the movies or partying in the weekends.
