29 year old Canadian Architect, 1-6 month sublet

Hey!

I'm a 29 year old Canadian Architect from (close to) Vancouver. I recently moved to Berlin in August for a change of pace and I'm looking for a few (1-6) months sublet to stay while I get more permanently set up. I've previously worked in Vancouver, New York and Dublin. I am quiet, clean, respectful and generally easy going (or so I am told.) On my free time I enjoy practicing languages, exercising, traveling, hiking, biking around town, the beach, going to a show, or having beers on the canal/at a bar.

I have a master's degree in Architecture and do take my work seriously. I'm currently interviewing at firms and have an offer from one. In the meantime, I am taking intensive German in the mornings to get up to speed. I am not a huge partier (by Berlin standards at least) and I like to keep regular hours for the most part. I'm usually up in the mornings by 8:00 and in bed by 23:00, especially on weekdays. Though I am a sociable person, while at home I am usually pretty quiet and stick to myself.

I would like to note that I am gay, so if that is at all an issue I wouldn't be interested in the room.

Also, I have not registered my residence with the government yet, so a legitimate sublet will be necessary for Anmeldung. My current sublet lasts util Sept 9, 2018, but I am flexible with move in times.

I have several employer and landlord references that I can pass along if you decide I may be a fit.
