25 (f), here to learn DE! Anmeldung & Job ✔️

Hi there!

My name’s Dani (kurz für Danielle). I’m originally from Taiwan and moved here last week from California. I’m here to learn German (currently at A2) and budget travel around Europe. Since I must survive, I start my job as a full-time product designer in Mitte on Dec 1.

I don’t smoke or do drugs. But I do enjoy going out to bars with friends. Nothing too crazy ;) My body tells me I’m not 16 anymore...

I’m good at cleaning up after myself and am normally alone and relaxing at home (but don’t worry, I’m sociable! So if we become friends then we can definitely hang out). Wie auch immer natürlich passiert. Everything is possible, yet nothing is required. 😊

I don’t mind guests/friends at all. It would be nice to have quiet hours after midnight if the walls are thin. I think as long as we are considerate people willing to communicate openly and kindly, there is no problem.

Some of my hobbies include travelling, reading, writing music, learning German, watching movies, staying active and healthy, playing volleyball, being in nature, doing spontaneous things, and naturally, petting people’s dogs at parks.

I enjoy talking about life philosophy, relationships, self-development, health/education, and social impact. I point out the things that no one seems to point out. (Lol this is beginning to feel like speed dating...) I’ll try not to propose too soon 😂

I am looking for more of a long term living situation starting early January, but for the right place I can be flexible with the date :)

Ideally I would have one - no more than two housemates (unless somehow we all love each other hahah). Ideally one flatmate is a German speaker. Preferably furnished. Budget for a WG is around €500 warm but flexible depending on the terms. Budget for a studio or 1 bedroom flat is around €750 warm. Being close to public transit is important to me. I’m open to any location <25 min from Mitte by public transit or <15 min by bike, with preference to Mitte, Prenzlauerberg, Friedrichshain, and Kreuzberg.

I have no pets but I do like friendly dogs and cats. I have 7 years of experience living with flat mates. Will not be able to have smoking in the house, but on the balcony is ok! I’m good at communicating openly and prefer the same. OK jeez I think that’s enough for now.
