Dream Housemate Seeking New Home in Berlin! ;)

Hi all - my name is Jess, I'm 29 and a freelance language teacher and I am searching for a longterm room from January or February. I'm from the US but left in 2012 and spent about 5 years living in Spain and now I've been living in Australia for the last 2 years. I just arrived in Berlin in October and I am living with friends and their beautiful baby son in Wilmersdorf at the moment but I am excited to get back into a shared house and live in a bit more lively of a neighbourhood :)

I have lived in share houses with people from all over the world for all of my 20s so I am comfortable with the WG concept. Tidiness, openness, and respect are some of the most important factors of living with others. Living in a harmonious home is a big priority for me. Privacy must be respected but I do like living with people who I can kick it with from time to time. I love cooking so I am always happy to have kitchen hangouts with dinner and some wine, go out for drinks at the weekend, have lazy Sundays at home watching Netflix (trashy or educational, you choose) or go for walks on nice days. Pretty much what everybody else enjoys doing, nothing too crazy there.

When I'm not teaching, I like to go bouldering (even though I am not very good at it), read, waste time online falling into YouTube rabbit holes, smell all the perfume at KaDeWe, listen to new music (indie, hip hop, electronic, chuck in a little pop music for good measure) cook tasty food, look for shit I probably don't need on eBay kleinanzeigen, listen to comedy and history podcasts.

I don't have a set move out date yet but I am starting my search now and hope to move in January or February if possible, please let me know if you think I might be a good fit for your home, I would love to stop by and meet you!
