Student bei Yale & nicht-Trump Ami sucht zentrale & aktive WG ab sofort

Hey! Ich bin 19 und studiere seit einem Jahr Elektrotechnik und Informatik an der Yale University wo ich in einer WG wohnte. Ich bin in Heidelberg geboren und bin mit 6 Jahren in die Nähe von Boston, Massachusetts, gezogen also ich bin bilingual.

Zurzeit, wohne ich als “Corona Flüchtling” :) in Freiburg bei meinem Bruder und arbeite online für ein Kognitionswissenschaftliches Forschungslabor. Von ende August bis mitte Mai werde ich mein Studium online fortsetzen in Berlin. Ich bin auch in Gespräch mit mehreren Firmen in Berlin wegen einem Praktikum neben dem studium. Zusätzlich habe ich mich noch bei Humboldt beworben dass ich als backup Option dort Kurse belegen kann die dann von Yale anerkannt werden.

Ich suche ab sofort (bin flexible) bis Mai eine coole und zentrale WG mit anderen Studenten oder jungen Leuten mit den ich vielleicht einmal die Woche was unternehmen kann da ich in Berlin keine Kontakte habe. Am allerwichtigsten ist mir eine lockere, freundliche, und aktive WG-kultur und coole Mitbewohner! Ich bin super offen für neue Erlebnisse und immer glücklich so lange was los ist. Deswegen ist eins von meinen haupt Zielen viele neue Leute kennenzulernen und mich so gut wie möglich in das Berliner und/oder Deutsche Uni experience einzuleben.

In meiner Freizeit gehe ich mit Freunden in die Stadt, gehe Feiern oder chill einfach mit Leuten. Sonst mag ich wandern, wrestling, klettern, verschiedene andere sportarten, kochen, mit anderen Filme gucken, musik hören, und neuerdings Skateboard fahren. Obwohl ich sehr hart arbeite würde ich mich als ausgeglichen und lebensfroh bezeichnen.

Ich pack natürlich beim Kochen und Putzen an und bin ein total unanstrengender Mitbowoher also wenn ihr mir eine Pause von Ami Schwachsinn gönnen wollt, schreib mir! :)

Hey! I’m 19 and just finished my first year at Yale University where I study Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and lived in a WG. I was born in Heidelberg and moved to Boston, Massachusetts when I was six so I’m bilingual.

I’m currently living in Freiburg to visit my brother and escape corona. :) I work remotely for a computational cognitive neuroscience lab and will be studying online from the end of August to the middle of May. I’m looking for an active WG in Berlin for this time as I’m talking to a few companies in Berlin about doing an internship in addition to my studies. As a backup I also applied to Humboldt so I can enroll in courses there which will be recognized by Yale.

In my free time I like going into the city with friends, partying, or just hanging out with people at home. I also like watching movies with friends, hiking, climbing, wrestling, listening to music, cooking, and I recently began skateboarding. Even though I work very hard, I would describe myself as relaxed and always super open to new experiences. I’m always happy as long as there is something going on.

A chill, friendly, and active WG-culture where I frequently have the option to go out with others or just spend time with others is most important to me since I don’t know anybody in Berlin yet. One of my main goals is to meet many new people and really embrace the Berlin and/or German Uni life.
