Hobby-Cook-Triathlete looks for a friendly flat

Hey you,

I am happy that you are checking out my post and its nice to “meet you” here. I am Moritz, 26 years old and originally from Hamburg, Germany. I had the pleasure to enjoy the always-sunny Lisbon for the last 1,5 years but now I decided to move back to not-so-sunny Germany. I already lived in Berlin from January until March for an internship and will now move back to start working full time. Although I will work long hours and travel a lot for my job I am really looking forward to settling more in the exciting city that Berlin is and to enjoy my first summer there - I heard they are supposed to be great. :)

In Lisbon I really started to love endurance sports, or more specifically triathlon. Last summer I did a marathon already and in July I will complete my first triathlon. I still need to learn the proper swimming technique but I have my fingers crossed and think I will be fine. When I am doing my laps in the pool, doing a long run or riding my bike it just really helps me to give everything, forget anything else and I think thats awesome.

I also really love cooking and would be happy to have some cookouts in our flat. My favorite dish to make is Carbonara and I love how I can be creative while cooking and it can also help me to relax.

As a fun fact, a good friend once told me if I was a fruit I would be a lemon. Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing, but I thought I will anyways share it.

I also lived in multiple shared flats already and I believe respect is the most important “ingredient”. For example, that means cleaning after yourself but also not expecting more from others than what you do yourself. I also always prefer to find friends in my flatmates rather than just people who coexist next to me.
