Fun, Energetic, Outgoing New Zealander Seeking Room!

Hey everyone!

I'm Akshay - I'm 26 years old and from New Zealand. I've been in Germany for 10 months and Berlin for 3 months and am seeking long-term accommodation.

I have lived in WGs before and have a full time job, and have no problem with paying rent on time or keeping the house clean. I am looking for a friendly and open-minded WG that values honest and direct communication. My ideal WG would be one where we have the odd drink, dinner or movie night together but we still all have our own lives and respect each other's privacy. My German is at B1 level and any opportunity to improve it would be great, as I want to keep improving.

My interests include film (indie, comedy, crime), travel, music (EDM, rock, hip hop), cooking, history and politics. In weekends I am usually cycling around Berlin, finding new places to drink, dance and eat. If there's something that's at least 60 years old, you can bet I'm probably there taking a crappy photo of it.

Secret talents? An unlimited supply of dad jokes, a worthy pub quiz teammate, and a mental encyclopedia of movie quotes. I also cook a pretty good curry and make a killer espresso martini.
