Cozy room in international girls WG: calm, friendly, safe, move out date flexible

Our apartment is conveniently located very close to the S-Bahn-station "Baumschulenweg" where there are 6 different lines with trains leaving every few minutes. S9 takes you directly to Alexanderplatz (17 minutes) and Hauptbahnhof, for example. Ostkreuz is 7 minutes, Südkreuz 13 minutes, Neukölln 4 minutes.
There are also 4 buslines.

Just around the corner is Plänterwald and Treptower Park where you can go jogging, take walks etc. along the river Spree.
There is also a public indoor swimming pool and 2 tennis clubs within 2 minutes walk.
Everything you might need for your daily life is right here as well (countless bakeries, hairdressers, banks, several stores and supermarkets etc.).

The area (Baumschulenweg) is rather modest and casual and very safe; it has more like a small town feel to it, yet with the great S-Bahn-connection you are quickly where the action is.

I am a friendly female, I speak German, English, French, Spanish and a bit of Indonesian, Russian and Italian and will do my best to make you feel welcome and at home during your stay with us and help you out with useful information about Berlin.

I am renting out two more rooms in the same flat to international girls, so we are always 4 international females here. During the years, we had wonderful women from all over the world and it is so nice to exchange views and perspectives.

International women/girls are prefered because I know how important it is to have a decent and safe place when you come to a strange country, since I am a stranger somewhere twice per year myself.
While I am working abroad, I also rent out my room to a girl from abroad, so we are always 4 girls in our flat.
There is also a whatsapp group to stay in touch wirh former flatmates that are still in Berlin, and sometimes some of them still come visit us from time to time or we do fun things together.
We want you to socially interact with the flatmates, be engaged in building a community and show interest, while respecting privacy at the same time.
Some of us also love boardgames and hiking, others not, so you are invited to join but totally free to pass on the invitation, too. Initiative on common activities is strongly encouraged. This community can only thrive if everyone contributes, so this is what we are looking for.

We are all friendly, helpful, tidy, clean and respectful and expect you to be the same.
We take turns cleaning the common rooms of the flat every week. So every four weeks it will be your turn to clean the joined spaces. But also in between the weekly cleaning it is extremely important for me that everyone cleans up after themselves so we maintain a clean and tidy common area.
Everyone takes care of their own room and respects the privacy of the other flatmates.

This is no Party-WG.

Minimum stay one year, maximum flexible.
After (very few, luckily) unfortunate experiences I would suggest a trial period for both sides to see if we are really having the same ideas about living TOGETHER and CLEANLINESS.

I am looking exclusively for applications from nice women/girls (sorry guys!).

Cleanliness and tidyness in the shared areas is VERY important to me! Please only apply if you can absolutely adjust to this!

Smoking is a no go in the entire building including the balcony.

Since I care a lot about the environment I would greatly appreciate if you do not waste resources (water, electricity, heating, trash). I am also a very active member of foodsharing and will offer rescued food from time to time.

It would be a plus if you have a green thumb because we have lots of plants in our flat, but this is not a must.

Anmeldung (registration) is possible, but please don´t forget to de-register after your move-out ;-).
