Description:
Furnished room with:
- a bed (140x200 with mattress),
-one bookshelf,
-one desk
-one chair
-one storage cabinet,
-one small table
-lamps
-curtains
-wall shelf
-one mirror
-one laundry basket
-coat hanger
I'll leave all the furniture (but the closet will be replaced by a clothes hanger)and thus would like to get 200€ for them.
You are free to paint the walls and add poster to make the room yours.
During the day it is pretty calm. Walls are thick, which means kinda soundproof when the door is closed. The garden and the balcony are perfect to drink your coffee in the morning.
Only 2 minutes by foot from the "Chlodwigplatz" stop, where you can take the 61 (tramway) and the 550 (bus) to go to the main train station in 10-15 minutes depending on the traffic.
In 15 minutes by foot, you can also reach the Rhine Promenade and enjoy nice sunsets/drinks or just walk along the river until the unviersity's Hofgarten and the historical city center (20-25 mintues by foot).
You'll be living with Buket (25) who's working full time at the moment and enjoying her free time to read, animate talks and do yoga; Daniela (23) who's focusing on her studies and sports (but also meeting with friends in the city). Both are really friendly and easy to talk to :) We sometimes have dinner, go to training, or party together depending on our timetable and energy level.
Since everyone has her own rhythm we have a cleaning plan: everyone has one "common area" to take care of during the week (floors, trash, bathroom) and it changes every Sunday. It would be nice to keep it but you can always discuss it with them! It is to say that you should be clean in commune area
Please keep in mind that this is not a party house but is located in a residencial area, if we do organize some get togethers we should be mindful of the neighbours and flatmates.
As I am currently in France I will not be able to assure the visits right now and will try to be back arround the 20th of April but I do have videos to share with you and can introduce you to your soon-to-be flatmates via zoom. If it goes well, we'll put you in touch with our landlady. She will be the one taking the final decision. Here are the key elements she would like to know:
- current status (student, employee, etc) + which field
- regular income if you are working (a must!)
- how long are you planning to rent the room
- previous flatshare experiences
- Letter of recommendation from the previous landlord
If you're interested, just reply directly on wg-gesucht.
Please, give a short description of yourself (including our landlady's requirements) and we can discuss further steps together :)
Looking forward to seeing you!
