Our house in Bonn's old town is looking for a new tenant for November and December 2024

The main languages in the house is English and German.
We live in a beautifully renovated and well-insulated old building with a large kitchen, cozy dining and living room, and a small courtyard. The house is big, with 3 floors, and 5 flatmates. One room on the 2nd floor is temporarily available for November and December.
The room is fully furnished. I can leave my wardrobe empty for your use, if needed.
The bathroom has a shower and a large bathtub. There is another bathroom on the ground floor and a guest toilet on the first floor. The house has a laundry room in the basement and a room that we use as a workshop with a few basic woodworking tools.
We would be happy to show you the shared apartment live or virtually.
The house is in a very central location in Altstadt, 5 min away from Stadthaus, and 10 min from HBF.
You will be sharing the flat with Karo (she/her), Sergio (he/him), Sascha (he/him), and Khaled (they/ them). We value community, hospitality, and a tidy, clean house.
We share the food, attach importance to quality and sustainability. We support solidarity farming and receive a weekly box of vegetables and fruit as a result and split the expenses.
We often cook and eat together in the evenings and sit together in a family atmosphere. Overall, we like to have a sociable atmosphere in the house and are always happy to have visitors.
We share social justice and ecological sustainability as core values and stand against any form of discrimination.
Sergio is always up for a hike or a bike ride (preferably long!). He is currently working on his PhD in Uni Bonn. Sergio speaks German, English, Spanish, Russian & Japanese.
Sascha is interested in environmental psychology and critical pedagogy. He works as a postdoc at the University of Bochum and is therefore always away from the shared flat for two days and one night during the semester. Sascha speaks German and English.
Karo is a cultural psychologist and is active in the field of migration. She likes to be active outdoors, explore Bonn's cultural life, go bouldering/climbing, or travel. Otherwise, she loves all kinds of markets and is a plant mom. Karo speaks Spanish, English, and German.
Khaled is an activist in the field of queer rights, and everything social justice. They love cooking (and we love their food), a good movie night, and a good conversation. Khaled speaks English, Arabic, and French.
We eat mainly vegetarian, but people are free to follow their diet, and are non-smokers - so smoking indoors is not allowed here.
