American PhD student looking for a friendly flatshare / Netter Doktorand sucht freundliche WG

Hello!

My name is John, I‘m 34 years old. I‘m from New Jersey (USA), and I‘m doing my PhD in Indology at the University of Bonn.

I‘m looking for an affordable room in a small WG in Bonn (up to about 500 € per month). My dream WG would be comprised of open-minded people, students or professionals, living together (no Zweck-WG). A furnished room would be great, but that’s not a must. Since I love cats, a WG with one or more cats would be heaven for me! 🐱🐱🐱

I started my PhD two years ago, but my research will continue for some years, and afterwards I‘d like to stay here in NRW.

I‘m sociable, clean, open-minded and considerate. I like cooking together with roommates and friends, enjoy good books and good discussions, and I do a lot of art in my free time (sketching, painting, digital art). I‘m currently learning German and look forward to improving my language skills. I also speak Greek (my parents are both Greek and I have dual US-Greek citizenship) and Hindi.
