Großes WG-Zimmer im Viertel(Fesenfeld) / Spacious room in the "Viertel"(Fesenfeld)

Unsere Wohnung befindet sich in bester Viertel-Lage im Stadtteil Fesenfeld. Straßenbahnen, Restaurants, Supermärkte, Bars etc. sind also praktisch direkt vor der Tür. Trotzdem ist es bei uns in der Wohnung sehr ruhig und man bekommt vom Viertel-Trubel kaum etwas mit.

Our apartment is located in the best location in the district Viertel/Fesenfeld. Trams, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, etc. are practically right outside the door. Nevertheless, it is very quiet in our apartment and you hardly hear anything of the neighborhood’s hustle and bustle.

Unsere Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit allem, was das Koch- und Back-Herz so begehrt (Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, Mixer, seit kurzem auch ein ziemlich praktischer Schnell-Kochtopf, Geschirr, Töpfe, Backofen, etc.). Zusätzlich zu unseren drei großen WG-Zimmern gibt es noch ein Wohnzimmer, von dem aus Zugang zum Balkon besteht. Bei Regenwetter (was ja in Bremen durchaus vorkommt), kann man gemütlich auf dem Sofa sitzen und den Ausblick ins Grüne genießen. Unser 17qm großer Balkon ist ein echtes Highlight unserer Wohnung, von Frühling bis Herbst kann man hier essen, in der Sonne baden, Yoga machen, Kaffee trinken usw. Wir sind seit diesem Jahr unter die Balkon-Gärtner*innen gegangen und haben recht erfolgreich Zucchini, Tomaten, Broccoli, Erdbeeren, Salat, Mangold und jede Menge Blumen angepflanzt.
Bei unserem Zusammenleben ist uns wichtig, dass wir alle aufeinander Rücksicht nehmen, miteinander kommunizieren und auf Sauberkeit achten. Wir verzichten darauf, in der Küche Fleisch oder Fisch zuzubereiten und in der Wohnung wilde Partys zu schmeißen. Freunde und Besuch sind aber natürlich immer herzlich willkommen!
Esther wird ab September ebenfalls für ihr Studium in die Niederlande ziehen, sodass ihr Zimmer während der Zeit an eine/n neue/n Mitbewohner*in für ein Jahr vermietet wird. Da Esther und Tuncer in einer Beziehung sind, wird sie am Wochenende aber häufiger mal zu Besuch sein.
Tuncer fängt ab Oktober seinen Master in Sozialpolitik an der Uni Bremen an und arbeitet nebenbei im Restaurant des Übersee-Museums und an der Uni. Er hat eine große Leidenschaft für Tee und Filme, zudem kocht er gern und experimentiert dabei viel herum. Da wir gerade in der WG den Plastikmüll reduzieren, sucht er eine Lösung für das Herstellen von schäumender Hafermilch, damit Esther nicht mehr so viele Tetra-Packs verbraucht.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything your cooking-and-baking-heart desires (washing machine, dishwasher, blender, recently also a quite practical pressure cooker, dishes, pots, oven, etc.). In addition to our three large rooms, there is a living room, from which there is access to the balcony. In rainy weather (which does happen in Bremen from time to time), you can sit comfortably on the sofa and enjoy the view of the greenery. Our 17sqm balcony is a real highlight of our apartment, from spring to fall you can eat here, bathe in the sun, do yoga, drink coffee, etc. Since the beginning of this year, we are among the balcony gardeners and have quite successfully planted zucchini, tomatoes, broccoli, strawberries, lettuce, chard and lots of flowers.
In our shared flat it is important to us that we all show consideration for each other, communicate and pay attention to cleanliness. We refrain from preparing meat or fish in the kitchen and throwing wild parties in the apartment. Friends and visitors are of course always welcome!
Esther will also move to the Netherlands for her studies in September, so her room will be rented to a new roommate for one year. Since Esther and Tuncer are in a relationship, she will visit quite often on weekends.
Tuncer will start his master's degree in social policy at the University of Bremen in October and works at the restaurant of the Übersee-Museum and at the university. He has a great passion for tea and movies, and he also likes to cook and experiment a lot. Since we are currently reducing plastic waste in the WG, he is looking for a solution to make foaming oat milk so Esther doesn't use so many tetra packs anymore.
