Moin,
I am currently a Master's student at Uni Bremen and will be doing research abroad from August or September 2019 - March 2020 (about 7 months), so I am looking to sublet my furnished room. It is 16square meters and has a double bed, couch, chairs, table - everything you could need! The apartment itself has a nice bathroom and a big, bright kitchen, which you would share with one other person (they have their own room). The kitchen is also already fully equipped, so there's no need to buy any kitchenware. It's in a great location just on the edge of Findorff, with the Burgerpark, tons of grocery stores (Bio, Netto, Rewe), and even the local farmer's market only a few minutes walk away. Public transport is easily accessible - you can be at the Bahnhoff in 10 minutes, and there's a bus and tram stop nearby. If you need to get to Uni Bremen, it is a lovely bike ride through the park that takes about 15 minutes. The apartment also comes with a bike storage room that you are free to use.
The cost is 382 euros per month, and includes everything (electricity, water, internet). There is also a deposit of two month's rent (764), to be returned at the end of the stay if all is in order of course.
About us: We both like to be outside and enjoy spending time in the park or at the Wedersee, swimming, slack lining, and just hanging out (maybe in hammocks). We also both love food and cooking. Your would-be roommate is also a student at Uni Bremen, and is very kind and relaxed. She also speaks both English and German (while I speak English and Spanish).
If you are interested in meeting us and seeing the place, please send me a message! I can be a little flexible on the dates, as well.
Just on the edge of Findorff, within walking distance to public transport (bahnhoff + other tram/bus stops), many grocery stores and restaurants, Burgerpark, and a local market. Uni bremen is only 15 minutes away by bike. You can be in the city center in less than 10 minutes (by tram or bike)
I am only looking to sublet the apartment while I am away - August 2019 to March 2020, though I am flexible on the exact dates.
