Moin zusammen!

ENGLISH VERSION :)
Hi there!
Since my flatmate is leaving me because she is becoming a homeowner (how crazy is that?), a small but very charming room is thrown on the open market here in Findorff-Bürgerweide.
The high ceilings make the room look much more spacious. In order to be able to use this space optimally, it has a fixed loft bed, on which you don't immediately bang your head (approx. 45 cm space between mattress and ceiling). A double bed mattress of up to 1.60 m width can fit into the loft bed. It also has a large window that faces the backyard – which makes it quiet. The room has a square shape and offers some storage possibilities (see pictures). Additionally, there are also shelves in the hallway and a storage cellar for storing things.
The room will be handed over unfurnished (except for the loft-bed frame), but since my roommate doesn't want to take everything from her room, you might take the things she wants to leave (sofa etc. - her room is not shown, because I will move in there hehe) and in Bremen they regularly give away furniture & Co. anyways. So, it shouldn't be a problem to quickly make it homelike again.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, windows and all kinds of shelves and also the kitchen offers the ultimate dream of a shared flat: a dishwasher. At the same time, the kitchen is also our common place (there is space to sit for at least 5 people).
Heating is provided by gas, the stated costs are also including internet and GEZ. As we are still in the process of signing new contracts or rewriting old ones, the amount could possibly change around 5€+/-. A washing machine is located in the cellar, we are living on the ground floor.
Location
The flat is located in the sweet one-way-street chaos of Findorff, in the immediate proximity of the trade fair and Bürgerpark. The area here is mixed with students and mostly families, so it is generally rather quiet and pleasant. Only at the annual fair market, you might hear strangers singing on the way home at night ;) It's also perfect if you go to a concert at the “Schlachthaus” because it only takes a few minutes to walk home. (Unfortunately, it is not possible at the moment, but who knows when everything reopens).
There are all kinds of possibilities for public transport:
If you want to stretch your legs a bit, you can simply walk directly to Bremen's main train station (exit Messe, 10 min walk). There is also the “Messezentrum” bus stop, where you can take bus line 6, bus lines 24, 630 and 670. If you walk through the station building, you can also use the rest of the spectrum and of course the long-distance transport.
If the weather is bad or if you are not so enthusiastic, you can also take the bus lines 26/27 (Eickedorfer Str., 3 min walk), which will take you to the station in a few minutes, as well as across the river and into the “Neustadt”. If you want to go more in the direction of “Domsheide”, I recommend taking bus line 25 (Herbststr., 5 min walk). If you want to go to the university, you can take bus line 28 (Hemmstr., 6 min walk), which will take you there within 13 min. But since we are in Bremen and the bicycle is more than suitable here: you can also simply cycle through the beautiful “Bürgerpark” within 15-20 minutes to get to the university campus.
Because of the central location and the abundance of (alternative) possibilities, I dare to say that you can always arrive at your destination quite quickly!
There are plenty of shopping facilities here. There is a bakery in our street and three crossroads further is the “Hemmstraße” (Findorff’s main shopping street). There you can find Rewe, Penny, bakers, many cute shops, an ice-cream shop, gastronomy, bicycle shops, doctors, pharmacies, cash machines and so on... This goes on until the crossing “Admiralstraße”, where you can also find all sorts of things including kebab stands, hairdresser, fitness and another net. If you walk the “Hemmstraße” in the other direction, you will find the “Jan-Reiners-Center” with a Rewe, also doctors, the post office, etc. And because all good things come in threes: a little further, still in Hemmstr., there is Aldi, Lidl and the last Rewe in this row.
In addition, there is an unpackaged shop about 250 m away which you can combine the best with a visit to the most beautiful weekly market in Bremen (Tue, Thu and Sat). To complete the whole thing there are two kiosks around the corner (could be important on Sundays). ;)
WG-Life
You would live together with me (Pia, 26). I've just finished my Master's in tropical marine biology (I'm practically just waiting for my certificate). So from now on, I will have to deal more intensively with the question of what will follow or what is possible now during "corona times". Fortunately I am financially supported by my parents (one worry less). Since the job prospects are sparse at the moment, I cannot say for sure how long I will stay in Bremen (-> being honest from the beginning is important to me). But at the moment I plan to stay here in beautiful Bremen (maybe I'll do my PhD?), so I'd like to have a relaxed and homely social life together and not just a purely purposed-driven shared flat community.
In the past, my roommate and I have cooked together in the evening every now & then or talked about the important things in life over a glass of wine or a cup of tea in the kitchen. Gaming evenings (cards, console etc.) or other suggestions for joint activities are also very welcome. If you feel more like a quiet time or if you have a lot to do, there is of course always the possibility to step back and go into your own room.
In my free time, I (usually) go bouldering, meet my friends, go windsurfing or kayaking in good weather, sewing in bad weather, look after my plants or do whatever else I enjoy (like cutting my friends’ hair). :D
Because a certain level of tidiness and order is important to me, there is a cleaning schedule, which should keep the workload in balance. But we can decide how we want to organise all this so that we both feel as comfortable as possible. (:
Miscellaneous
The house consists of a total of 9 parties (+ a property management) and mostly people around 30/40 live here. We have a very nice relationship with each other and both the small backyard and the cute garden in front of the door can be used by everyone. There is also a communal barbecue, which is stored in the cellar and can be used by everyone if necessary.
The best thing you can do is to write me an email and tell me a little bit about yourself! :)
(Virtual) tours around the flat can be arranged afterwards.
The most important thing at the end: To prove that you are not a robot and that you have at least skimmed the text, please mention the word "tea" in your mail.
