If you would like to move in earlier, please contact me and it may be possible to move in as early as 19 May 2014. You can also renter longer! The minimum rent is until 30 Sept 2014, but you can rent as long as you would like.
It is an individual bedroom with a shared kitchen and bathroom, known as a 2 Bedroom flat. The bedroom has a huge window for lots of light and includes a wardrobe, extra-large desk, bookshelf, your own internet connection (included in price), TV socket, and lots of electrical sockets.
The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you will need including a satellite TV, pots, pans, fridge, freezer, stove, oven, kettle, microwave, toaster, and cutlery.
With approximately 17000 students Bremen University was recently voted International University 2012 by the German Academic exchange office (DAAD). The Mensa is no more than a few meters away from Galileo Residenz, and with the Tram and bus stop on our doorstep, the major attractions in Bremen are reached in just a few minutes.
In the summer you can meet on the Unisee, go jogging around the Bürgerpark, cycling in the Blockland, Minigolf, canoeing and skating are all close by, and for the rainy days we are 2 minutes from the Uni swimmingpool.
The town centre can be reached by Tram, bus or bike, with the bus/tram stop only a 2 minute walk from the hall. The main German Autobahn is a short 2km drive which takes you to Hannover (50 mins) Hamburg (60 mins) Osnabruck (60 mins) or the German north coast (60 mins)
This flat is in a building with a very friendly atmosphere. The building hosts students of all ages (bachelors students to PhD’s) from all over the world. It is important to note that you do not need to be a student at Universität Bremen to live here. If you can prove you are a student at another university then you can live here. So students completing internships or practicums are welcome!
