Ph.D. student looking for a room

Hi people,

I am a 33 year old Ph.D. student (electrical engineering) at TU Dresden and I'm looking for a room in a shared flat.

About me: I'm half Pakistani, half Turkish guy who speaks Urdu/Hindi, Turkish, Gujrati, English and some German (I'm still learning so it's not good enough at the moment). I also work at the TU, but unfortunately it's in the lab in the cellar so I prefer to meet people after work. That is why I am not getting an apartment for myself.

I really like to cook (especially Indian/Pakistani) food so if you live with me you will be guarenteed tasty dinner at least a few times a week. That is why one of my few requirements is that the apartment have a decent kitchen. It would also be nice if there is a nice living room or even a table in the kitchen where the flatmates could sit and chat in the evening. I generally do not sit alone in my room in the evenings but rather prefer to socialize by simplying chatting over beer or wine or playing some board games or cards (I am a big fan of poker) or watching a movie or going out to a bar for beer.

Anyway, if you think that I would make an interesting roommate then just give me a call and we can meet up.
