-------------------- DIE DEUTSCHE VERSION IST IN ARBEIT ------------------------
One of my roommates is leaving the apartment, and so I am taking over his room. For this, I am looking someone to take over my room.
The room is great, has good lighting and access to a balcony. Even though it is in Altstadt, it is not loud, since the balcony faces an inner yard. The room is near the entrance of the house, and also close to the toilet and bathroom.
The furniture that i want to sell when passing the room is the double bed, the desk, the closet, the sofa, the curtains, the blinds, a coffee table and a chair (not the computer chair, a normal one), for which I would like to get 250€, which is less than what I paid the previous tenant for them.
The flats best feature is its location, in the heart of the Altstadt. Very near to Burgplatz, the Rhine river, as well as all the bars and restaurants. Perfect for people who like enjoying time outside with friends. There are also parks in the vicinity, such as the Hofgarten, or a bit further away the Rheinpark Golzheim.
The nearest supermarket (REWE) is 5 minutes away walking, and there is an Aldi a bit further. The Heinrich-Heine-Allee tramstop, which connects to several different lines, is less than 5 minutes away. There are also several bus connections, but unfortunately I am not so familiar with them. It takes more or less 10 to 15 minutes to get to the main train station, and around 30 to 45 to get to the airport.
I am Jaime, I am 26 years old, from Spain, and I work 40 hours a week at a videogame company. Of course, I like gaming mostly, but I also enjoy cooking or sharing a beer together. Our other roommate is Jan, from Germany, 32 years old, and he also works at an IT company in Düsseldorf. His main hobbys are biking and running, but he also enjoys going out once or twice per week.
For all this, we are both okay with a roommate that is sociable or introverted. I like to consider myself as both :) You are also welcome to bring friends over on a weekend evening, as long as you consult with the rest of the roommates first.
Jan is German and he speaks fluent English, however, I do not speak fluent German yet :( Therefore it would be important that the new roomate is at least fluent in English, so we can all understand each other.
We have a dishwasher, so there aren't problems with doing dishes. Regarding flat cleaning, we get together every now and then and we try to cover the house cleaning together.
I would prefer contact VIA E-MAIL, with a text about yourself. If you could link your socials (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter...) so we can get to know you better, that would be great :)
My roommate wants to leave the flat for Christmas time. So if necessary your arrival at the flat could be slightly earlier.
The 450€ Abstandszahlung (additional cost) is a one-time payment and responds to this:
- 200 euro for the common furniture (dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, etc)
- 250 for the room furniture, as described before.
Utilities (internet, water...) are included in the rent.
The house does not have an elevator.
