Trams 701, 704, U71, U73 & U83 all stop directly at Karolingerplatz and take you to the Altstadt or Hauptbahnhof in just 10 minutes.

If you have a car, you can get directly onto the A46 autobahn from around the corner. Free parking is available on the street.

Deine Mitbewohnerin Lydia kommt aus Österreich und arbeitet in Düsseldorf. Sie isst und kocht gerne abends nach der Arbeit. Hier bietet die geräumige Küche viel Platz für den Tratsch des Tages während des Abendessens. Wenn es zum zeitlichen Tagesabluf passt wird auch gerne mal etwas zusammen getrunken und oder vor dem Fernseher abgehangen. Idealerweise solltest du ein offener Mensch sein, behälts Ordnung und bist sozial umgänglich, das für eine freundliche Atmosphäre in der WG sorgt. Das Ziel soll es sein, dass sich jeder wie zu Hause und wohl in der WG fühlt.

EN: Your flatmate Lydia comes from Austria and works in Dusseldorf. She enjoys cooking and hanging out. She is also always up for drinking, chatting or watching TV together when your schedules permit. Ideally, you should also be an open-minded, tidy and sociable person with your own interests who can contribute new & interesting perspectives to the friendly atmosphere of this WG. The overall target is simply that both people feel at home in the flat together.

Die Kosten für die Küche und einige andere gemeinsam genutzte Gegenstände in der Wohnung werden geteilt, heißt, du wirst dich an den Kosten beteiligen müssen. Natürlich kannst du bei deinem Auszug den Anteil der Gegenstände vom Nachmieter verlangen und so deine Investition wieder erlangen.

Die gemeinsam genutzten Gegenstände sind eine voll ausgestattete Küche, inklusive eines 359l Kühlgefrierkombination, einer 7 kg Waschmaschine und einem Geschirrspüler (Alles von AEG). Weiterhin gibt es einen Ofen und das Ceranfeld, eine Mikrowelle, einen Toaster und weiteres Küchenmaterial. Zusätzlich gibt eine Couch die auch zu einem Bett umgebaut werden kann. Einen Fernseher zur gemeinsamen Nutzen gibt es ebenfalls.

Idealerweise könnte/sollte die neue Person auch einen Teil der Möbel des Schlafzimmers (Bett, Matratze, Kleiderschrank, Nachttische, Lampen, Vorhänge) für 450 € kaufen, dies ist aber kein Muss.

EN: The costs for the kitchen and a few common items in the flat will be shared meaning you will need to contribute to some of the costs. Of course, if you move out, you can then sell this share in the items so you can expect to get this investment back.

The common items are the fully equipped kitchen which includes a 359L fridge/freezer, 7kg washing machine & dishwasher (all from AEG-Electrolux), the oven, stove and range hood, assembled across a full wall of cupboards & benches. Additionally, there is a large couch which couples as a double-bed for guests, kitchen supplies including crockery, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery & kitchen supplies, some shelves & storage items.

Ideally the new person could/should also buy part of the furniture of the bedroom (bed, mattress, wardrobe, nightstands, lamps, curtains) for 450€, but this is not a must.
