The house is an old building in typical Fechenheim style. The ceilings were suspended by the previous owner (2.75m), which accommodates the current energy price situation.
For me personally, the apartment is a super mix of old/modern. The floor in the hallway and in the rooms is beech parquet. Doors and door frames (all still original, but in good condition) and windows are also solid wood. Otherwise, the apartment has been extensively modernized, which is especially evident in the very large bathroom with 2 sinks, bathtub, shower and underfloor heating.
The apartment also includes 2 quite spacious and dry basement rooms. In addition, there is a relatively large courtyard, which is greened and has a nice sitting area, which belongs to our apartment and is mainly used by us. Barbecues etc. are no problem here.
As I’ m going home I want to rent my room furnished during July ,August and September.
Smoking is not welcome in the apartment, but since we are on the ground floor, it is only a few steps into the courtyard.
Public transport can be reached in 2-5 minutes (bus + tram).
By bike to the S-Bahn Ledermuseum station or to the Mainkur station each about 10 minutes.
By tram it is a good 25 minutes from Bornheim and about the same time from the Konsti.
Supermarket, various snack bars, kiosks, etc. also in the immediate vicinity.
Fechenheim is a suburb that has (in a positive sense) the charm of the village, it's really beautiful here and there's a lot of nature in the immediate vicinity. The Main is a little less than 5 minutes walk away - a little less.
If you don't want to be too far from the city, but like to have your peace and quiet, this is the place to be.
We are looking for another girl to share the flat with us .
We try to keep the flat clean and tidy most of the time.
So cleanliness is very important for us.
