Hello everyone,
As I'm moving out of this lovely shared apartment soon, I'm now looking for a new tenant. I'm probably moving out on August 1st and will be looking for a new tenant from that time onwards.
The room to rent is around 20 square metres, but has a small sloping roof. This means that the room has a usable area of around 17 square metres. There is a door in the sloping roof, so you can use the space behind it as storage space, for example for suitcases or things you need more often.
The shared apartment also has a basement compartment which can be used by all residents of the shared apartment. And a basement with a washing machine for laundry.
I would leave the two white chests of drawers, the book shelf (found in the picture) in the room for a discount of €120. If not, I'll try to sell the things elsewhere.
There are 2 large bathrooms in the shared apartment, and 1 guest toilet. but you only share your bathroom in your floor with one person. The listed room is on the upper floor of the apartment and we have our own bathroom with toilet and shower there. The bathroom is also a daylight bathroom. Downstairs is Christa and Tanya's bathroom and a guest toilet.
We have a balcony in the house with a decent size for barbecuing and friends gathering or simply lounging in the sun. The view is lovely and overlooking a nice greenery scene.
The apartment is in Riederwald about 10 minutes walk from the subway stop "Schäfflestraße" where both the U4 and the U7 run, in the other direction it is about 10 minutes walk to Hanauer Landstraße from where you can also easily get into the city by tram.
In general I would say it is very quiet here, you can reach the discounter Netto within 2 minutes and there is also a pharmacy, bakery and a savings bank ATM not far away.
The Hanauer Landstrasse is easy to reach and the fast food restaurants McDonalds and Burger King are not far away, if that is the deciding factor :)
We are a very international shared flat, so internationals are welcome.
Your new flatmates would be Tanya, and Christa. Christa is employed and Tanya is studying economics and working at the same time.
We have a cleaning schedule in which everyone cleans the common areas such as the kitchen or living area once per month, but this usually takes no longer than 1 hour. Every 8 weeks we are responsible for the cleaning of the common basement area, which includes cleaning the laundry room and the entrance area, which usually doesn't take long either.
As we rarely all have time together at the same time, it will probably be difficult to get to know everyone during a viewing, but I'm sure that can be arranged somehow. In general, we are simply looking for someone who is very open-minded, who is easy to talk to and who has a sense of responsibility because everyone here really has to do their own tasks.
Otherwise, we are simply looking for someone who fits well into the shared apartment and who gets on well with the other girls.
If you are interested, just write us a short message about who you are, what you do and what makes you so special.
Best wishes and maybe see you very soon,
Samya :)
