Available room in the most incredible house !
Background about the house:
The house is a part-preserved part-restored "Stadtvilla" with 3 levels and a basement floor. Each floor operates as its own WG with 3 housemates per floor. In the front shared garden there is an outdoor table/bench set, and an area for bikes. During the warmer periods of the year we often relax out the front with drinks, and host barbecues or parties etc. The house also has a cleaning lady that comes once a week.
The age group of those in the house lies in the mid-20s to early 30s and many come from international backgrounds (i.e. Bolivia, India, Japan, Nigeria, Bulgaria, Turkey, Moldova in addition to Germany), so English is naturally the common language of the house and internationals are very welcome. Practically everyone is in the early/mid stages of their career working across a variety of professions/industries.
About me:
I am embarking on a sabbatical from October to March and giving up my room for that time. The room comes with cabinets, 140cm bed, couch, chairs, TV, a stand-up desk with docking station and screen, and a printer. It is divided in the main sleeping/living area (21m²) where the bed, couch and TV are located, and a small wintergarden (7m²) which is my little office. I whole-heartedly recommend living here, and if you've done Erasmus, this house is just like it :)
Excellent location in the heart of Sachsenhausen and within walking distance to all the essentials:
- 3 Min to Schweizer Straße (main street): cafes, restaurants, bakeries, bars, cider houses etc.
- 3 Min to U-Bahn stations Schweizer Platz and Südbahnhof (lines U1, U2, U3 & U8)
- 3 Min to S-Bahn station Frankfurt Süd (lines S3, S4, S5 & S6)
- 5 Min to supermarkets (Rewe, HIT, Lidl) as well as Dm and OBI
- 10 Min to the Main river
We are an international flat, when you're looking for fun we're happy to provide, if you want your quiet you will get that as well. Since we come from a very diverse background, you will get to know a lot of nice people!
We would prefer to have someone that is between 22-35 and working, and most importantly open and fun to live with :)
The monthly rent includes all utilities as well as WiFi, GEZ and cleaning lady costs. The deposit is two months’ rent.
