***English version below***
Hey there!
There’ll be a room available in our shared flat from the first of February on since our beloved flat-granny Jana will leave to Switzerland with her new PhD and half of our kitchen’s equipment. The room is in the size of 15 square meters and has a window that allows you to watch people study in the UB.
Our south-facing, roofed balcony with urban flair neighbors the balcony of our sixth flat mate (Lilian, 86). She is very caring but sometimes asks us to be a little quiet in the evenings.
You will move in with five other people:
- Elena (23, studies recorder and elementary music pedagogy, which is cooler than it sounds)
- Leo (22, virtuous medical student)
- Vera (22, studies Liberal Arts and Sciences, which sounds more fancy than it is)
- Gustav (22, great, tree-climbing cook that says since summer he’ll just stay temporarily)
- Max (26, who is an occupational therapist, which is actually pretty cool)
In general, to feel at home in our flat you should enjoy it to have many people around you. We like to do stuff together and are happy if you join in our bicycle trips, game nights and cooking events. We have a close relationship with the 5-person shared flat in the apartment above ours and our doors are always open (which is meant literally). But of course, everyone also gets the personal and quiet time that they need.
Other expectations towards you go include things such as “should love card games”, “has to be knowledgeable in refrigerator-hygiene” and simply “should be funny”. But no worries, we have our own black sheep in each of these disciplines, too. On the first floor of our house, there is a room with a piano, in which (in Corona-free-times) all sorts or band or theater rehearsals or Yoga sessions take place. At the moment it is mostly used as a library. We’d be happy to have people moving in that have their own ideas and projects on how to use this room (and also take some responsibility for its condition).
We’re looking forward to hearing back from you! We’d like to get to know you already next Wednesday evening, 13.10., would that work for you?
All the best,
Die sedanis
