Since the student dormitory is operated by the SWFR, only students from the following universities in Freiburg are entitled to live: Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Pädagogische Hochschule, Musikhochschule, Ev. and Catholic University, Macromedia University, Angell Academy and Angell Business School Freiburg, ISBA Freiburg.
The room can be occupied from August 1st, 2021. It is bright and has its own big window that leads directly into the green outside of the dormitory. In the summer I spent almost more time there than in my room.
The furniture includes 1 bed, 1 wardrobe, 1 desk including a desk chair, 1 bookshelf. A mirror is attached to the inside of the cabinet door.
The rent is warm € 250 / month.
The use of the WLAN is free of charge, I am happy to provide my router for the time being. Washing machines and dryers are in the neighboring house and can be used.
The flat share has four rooms, a shared kitchen and two bathrooms.
It is located in one of the new buildings in the Technical Faculty dorm.
You can get to the city center in 13 minutes by bike (UB, Kollegiengebäude, Rempartstraße cafeteria).
There are covered bike racks next to the house.
If you don't have your own bike, you can use the "frelo" rental bike station in front of the dormitory (free of charge as a Freiburg student for up to 30 minutes).
The next tram stops "Technical faculty" (line 4 - Zähringen / Messe) can be reached in 3 minutes on foot.
Supermarket are nearby, can be reached by foot in 5 minutes.
There are four amazing students( law, computer science and environmental science). We have pleasant evening and game nights together.
A different roommate takes over the cleaning for a different area (surfaces, floors, etc.) every week. We share cleaning and washing-up liquid, oil, spices, baked goods, etc.
