Hello dear flat share seekers :-)
we are an open, lively shared flat on the 3rd floor of the Händel dormitory (Händelwohnheim) and are looking for a new roommate as quickly as possible. This person must (according to the dormitory regulations) be a male international student (i.e. not German). A non-binary person could probably move in too.
The room for rent is furnished and faces east. The forest is not far (you can also see it from the window) and it is a 10-minute bike ride to the city center. In the Händelwohnheim there are many offers and tutorials, a fairteiler where you can get rescued food for free and lots of great people all in one place! It is a wonderful place for sociable students.
About our shared flat: There are 6 rooms on the hallway, a cosy kitchen, a living room with sofas and TV, a bathroom with two showers and a toilet with two cabins. Life in a shared apartment is relaxed and without pressure, we have dinner together from time to time where we also discuss things that need to be clarified. Some people tend to leave their doors open and others don't, depending on their mood. At the moment, we are: Sharon, who is studying for a master's degree in geology and likes to dance. Roman recently started his Master’s in Environmental Engineering, is always up for some board games or a chat in the kitchen and likes to dance Salsa. Xiaotong, doing a Master’s in Neuroscience, loves crocheting and would love to go to classical concerts together. Wini studies biology, reads a lot and enjoys cooking. Betty studies biology with Wini, plays the cello and enjoys cycling. We are all in our 20s. Since not everyone in the shared apartment speaks German, we mostly communicate in English - so if you move in with us, you should speak English at a conversational level.
The rent is 291 € for approx. 9 m^2 and there are no other costs - there is a WiFi router in the room. The deposit is €400. Unfortunately, the apartment is not wheelchair accessible.
