Hey guys!
I'm going to Norway for an erasmussemester so my room in my shared flat will be available from august till dezember.
The room is 12qm big and is already furnished (with bed, desk, shelfes, commode, chair). So you don't need to bring a lot of stuff. The room is not really big, but i think you can make it yourself comfortable in it.
The room is an a shared flat with three other people. We share the kitchen and the bathroom together. A special feature in this flat is, that the bathroom is in the kitchen. So basically we have a bigger room where we cook, eat, shower and brush our teeth etc. ...So you should be fine with this situation, when you're thinking to move in :) It maybe sounds weird, but for me it was never a big deal that the bathroom is in the kitchen. It sometimes makes things even easier :D
The toilet is outside of the flat in the staircase. The toilet will just be used by you and the other people in the flat. So it is not shared with the other flats in the house
The flat is located close to the central station. If you're at the central station, you just walk down the Schnewlinstraße to the south, over the Dreisam an then you 're there! This walk is maybe 5 Minutes.
Because of the central location you have shopping facilities, tram stations etc. very close to the flat.
You will live together with Moritz (25), Helena (25) and Patrick (30). They are really nice, openminded people and it's easy to connect with them. Moritz and Helena are both studying psychology at the master level and Patrick is studying dentistry. Even if times are stressfull (because of uni or other things) there is still time to do something together like cooking, talking, sports, going out, go swimming etc. But if somebody wants his or her own time nobody is mad. Just do what you want :)
Our flat is living together with two other shared flats, so we are three flats in the house, whereas our flat is at the highest floor (2nd floor). The people in the other flats are also students. They are also really nice people and they are always open for a talk in the corridor. You will also meet them in the garden we are sharing together. The garden is just at the backside of the house. There you can make BBQ, chill, read in the sun etc, having partys.
The flat is between a main road and the railways, so you should be okay with loud noises sometimes :)
So the rent will be about 340€ per month. You can move in at the 1. August. I will be propably back in Germany at the 8. of december, but i guess i will first visit my family and probably stay there till christmas. So if you want to stay the hole december in the room, that is okay for me. But i need the room back in january.
