Hello! We are looking a nice female flatmate to live with in a beautiful flat on Merzhauser Straße. The apartment has 3 rooms, and one of the rooms is now available to rent. The other two rooms are occupied by Hebba (Indian girl, computer scientist) and Daniel (german guy, journalist). We are looking somebody with an open mind, who is fun, clean and has no issues speaking in English.
Your room overlooks the Vosges and has a very big balcony to watch the sunset. At the moment there is scaffolding on the balcony, but the work on the roof will be done by the end of august.
The toilet has a bathtub and which you will share with Hebba.
The room is fully furnished. It has a very big closet, a bed frame with an old mattress, desk, and chair. If you are interested, a new mattress can be taken over cheaply from Verónica who is the current occupant.
The apartment is on the 7th floor of the building (the last one, with elevator), and it is very well equipped. It has a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a cellar. In the living room, there is space for books and enough places to sit down to eat (there is a nice sofa bed).
The kalt miete is 495 euros and neben cost will be between 150-170, depending on the gas prices. This will be adjusted later with the Landlord.
The apartment is well located: the city center is about 15-20 minutes walk away, the main train station about 20 minutes.
There are two tram stops at a 1 minute walk from home.
Otherwise, there are various supermarkets, cafés & restaurants, a pharmacy, and other stores in the vicinity (by foot or bike). The Lorettoberg for walking is also very close, ‘5 min.
